Facilities and Capacity
Options range from elegant and rustic Kitty Hawk Pier House with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean to the newly renovated Wright Ballroom that opens to a beautiful beachfront Courtyard. The Kitty Hawk Pier House is situated on the Historic Kitty Hawk Fishing Pier, which is 2,250 square feet of event space, accommodating up to 150 people. The Wright Ballroom is located on the first floor of the hotel and offers 3,650 square feet of meeting space, allocating up to 250 people. The grand ballroom includes access to the 900 square foot pre-function area as well as the outside oceanfront pavilion and courtyard. The ballroom can be split into three private sections for smaller parties.

From the moment we met Jamie at our menu tasting I knew we were in good hands! She asked all the right questions to make sure our day flowed smoothly. She kept in contact through the all of the planning & kept us up to date on everything. Unfortunately, Jamie had a family emergency but Peggy jumped in to cover the weekend of our wedding. You would have thought Peggy had worked with us through the entire process. She communicated everything & check on us frequently to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Jamie even checked in. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of coordinators!
The pier house is absolutely stunning!!! You don’t need to over do it with decor because the wrap around windows with ocean view and the immaculate wood covering the walls and floor are enough on their own. Throw in the drapes & lighting from I DO OBX & you’re In a fairytale!
The Hilton does all of the catering & drink service so you don’t have to worry about getting multiple vendors, the only problem was narrowing down the meal and hors d'oeuvres from their extensive list! (Good problem to have) All of the catering & bar staff were amazing! Everyone checked in on us multiple times during the reception & literally catered to us, brought us drinks & made plates for us! They cleaned up the venue and put our personal decorations together so we could grab them the next day!
You can’t go wrong with the Kitty Hawk Pier house!!

The Hilton Garden is your one stop shopping for amazingly modern accommodations, service and a very unique venue, on the pier and beach for your wedding. The staff is beyond amazingly helpful and professional. It's all good at the Hilton Garden Inn!
There aren't many places you can say "I Do" and dance the night away over the ocean but you can at KHP!!! You have the beach, pier and a gorgeous indoor option inside the pier house if it's needed. The staff is wonderful and makes sure every little detail is taken care of. It's a photographers dream to shoot here!!
There are certain venues on the Outer Banks considered Diamonds. The Hilton Garden Inn is for sure one of those top 5 diamonds found on these barrier islands. The vintage Pier House is so cool and a perfect place to make a memory that will stand for all time. I've had the honor of performing many weddings along with the wonderful Hilton Garden Inn staff like Miha, and enjoyed every minute of it. First class from start to finish.
