We are so grateful for the services provided by the staff for our wedding weekend! We had to adjust our wedding date due to rain and Meghann and her staff we so accommodating. She went the extra mile and delivered chairs from the restaurant to help out for the changes in our venue space. The food was delicious and the servers went above and beyond. We used them for the whole weekend and we are so glad that we did!

1587 provides the most amazing food, but truly I am so grateful for Audra and her planning services. She went above and beyond!

Food was one of our top priorities for our wedding, so choosing Johanna’s was a big decision—and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we booked them, they made us feel taken care of. They were always willing to accommodate changes, helped us think through menu combinations, and gave great recommendations based on what tends to be a hit with wedding guests. Lynda, the catering manager, was also so kind and responsive throughout planning and made every change or question feel easy. I knew we made the right choice after our tasting. Honestly, it was hard to decide what to pick because everything was SO good. Johanna herself is amazing—so kind, warm, and genuinely great to work with. She always made us feel heard and prioritized. Johanna’s catered both our welcome party and our wedding, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park for both. We did the taco bar for our welcome party, and people were raving about it all night. For the wedding, we did full-service catering, and the food was just as incredible (and just as incredible as it was at our tasting). We had so many guests coming up to us at both events telling us how great the food was. People were even asking what they put in the potatoes at the wedding because they were that good. Beyond the food, the service was amazing. Every single staff member was so friendly, professional, and helpful. The bartenders absolutely killed it—our signature drinks were perfect, and they kept the bar moving all night. Our wedding day was also incredibly windy, and the staff was constantly going back and forth between the kitchen and the tent, handling everything without missing a beat. Through all of it, they stayed positive, calm, and on top of everything. Having vendors you can fully trust on your wedding day is priceless, and Johanna’s was one of those vendors for us. I never had to worry because I knew they had everything handled. I also really appreciated how hands-on Johanna was throughout the event—it was clear how much she genuinely cares. They also gave us a plentiful amount of food. We had plenty left over, and people were still happily eating leftovers at the after-party and even the next day. We completely understand why Johanna’s is so highly recommended, and we would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Shelly at Aqua was our event coordinator and was very responsive and professional during the whole process. She was willing to meet with us as many times as we needed to get everything set for our reception. The actual day of the reception was a bit chaotic and I felt like it did not go smoothly. My guests had no idea, however, and had loads of fun! The food was great! I also had the Aqua Spa do my makeup and hair for the big day, and it was the best hair and makeup I have ever received! They made us all look great!

This weekend we (Grace Community Church - https://www.gracecommunitychurchchesapeake.com ) held our annual church adult retreat in beautiful Nags Head, N.C. We arrive on a Friday evening and have activities occurring through Sunday afternoon. As is tradition, we hold our daily retreat activities in Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant, 6708 S Croatan Hwy, Nags Head, NC 27959. https://pamlicojacks.com Pamlico Jack’s is the perfect place for a larger than normal gathering such as ours. The spectacular panoramic view of the Pamlico Sound surrounding us as we gather in the upper room of the restaurant is magnificent. Some piece of the amazing sunset fills each pane of the restaurant windows. The restaurant is large and is right off of the main road (Croatan Hwy) leading into Nags Head. Each year, without fail, we know that our atmosphere, quality of food and service and overall visit here will be exceptional. Last December plans were made for our retreat we were having this year, 2018. However, due to a change in restaurant event managers, the church’s pastor realized – 2 weeks out - there was a disconnect. Our reserved space for 45 people within Pamlico Jack’s where we’d planned on having our retreat, had been scheduled to someone else. Ugh!! Hoping to resolve and remedy the double reservation, the Pastor reached out to Maryanne, Pamlico Jack’s new event manager. Upon realizing the mix-up, Mary-Anne quickly righted the error. She ensured that the restaurant space, the planned meal options and the necessary staff to support our event were in place for the original dates we’d scheduled previously. Mary-Anne, we cannot thank you and Pamlico Jack’s enough for your responsiveness, professionalism, quality of service and amazing food! To our awesome servers - Nick, Emily, Steve, Estella, & Michael, you were the best!! See you next year!!

Wanda has known my fiancé for her entire life, and was sure to bring the same love for our marriage as she has to her love for catering! The Tuna was freshly caught and incredible, while the chicken was cooked to perfection! With cornbread and white mini ciabatta bread paired perfectly with the Mac & Cheese and Potatoes! They did an amazing job!

The Collington Cafe did an amazing job on our wedding. They provided three different meals - rehearsal, reception, and a brunch. All of the food was sourced from local vendors and everything tasted amazing. Almost every guest commented on how great the food was to us. Carlen and Timmery went above and beyond in every way possible - she added many items on, she adapted as things were realized they were needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in the Outer Banks.
