The Beaufort Hotel

Located in Beaufort, North Carolina, on the southernmost tip of the Outer Banks, our property sits directly on Taylor's Creek with views of the Rachel Carson Reserve, home to over 30 wild horses. Our full-service hotel makes for the perfect backdrop for any desired event, as our newly constructed, modern, world-class event space can accommodate groups ranging in size from 20 to 500+ guests.

Facilities and Capacity

For ceremonies, we have a wedding pavilion located at the edge of our property, directly overlooking Taylor's Creek and Carrot Island. Our pavilion comfortably holds 120 guests seated inside and over 300 guests, with the ceremony located on our lawn, using the pavilion entrance as your backdrop. We also have our West Lawn for smaller weddings, which sits directly on the water!

Couples may host up to 220 guests in our Rachel Carson Grand Ballroom located on the second floor of the main building in the Beaufort Hotel. This space also includes private indoor and outdoor function areas, great for cocktail hours, conference check-ins, satellite bars, and grand farewell exits!

Planning a smaller wedding and not in need of the entire ballroom? We can separate our ballroom into four different salons. Along with our grand ballroom, we have three other smaller event spaces- perfect for rehearsal dinners, elopements, and showers. These are our Marlin Room and adjoining Lookout Deck, Shackleford Room, and Executive Board Room.

If you are looking for an outdoor waterfront reception, our Front Lawn is the perfect location for a tent, which can accommodate 500+ guests. Your possibilities are endless at the Beaufort Hotel.

Staff at the Beaufort Hotel are determined to exceed your expectations on your big day. All catering and alcohol service is to be done through the hotel, but we are thrilled to also offer event rentals ranging from audiovisual equipment, dance floors, and stages to linen napkins and table linen - we are here to make your event one-of-a-kind! Couples may also reserve hospitality suites and golf carts for extra wedding day ease.

Cuisine

The Beaufort Hotel will provide full catering services for your wedding festivities. We offer many serving styles, including buffet, plated, action stations, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Our Executive Chef has cultivated a menu featuring refined, locally-inspired Eastern North Carolina cuisine with fresh local seafood, hand-cut steaks, chops, and seasonal ingredients. While having several bar packages, we can customize any combination of host or cash bars with premium, luxury, and boutique liquors, artisan wine collections, and imported and domestic beers, and we can't forget about our signature cocktails!
