We got married here in 2024, and it was truly the most incredible experience from start to finish. The setting is absolutely beautiful—right on the water—and created the perfect backdrop for our special day.
The staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. From the planning process to the day of the wedding, they were organized, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our vision come to life. Every detail was handled with such care, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the moment.
A special shoutout to Bridget—she is so patient, kind, and truly wants to help each bride’s vision come to life. Having someone like her by your side during the planning process makes all the difference, and we are so grateful for everything she did for us.
Our guests are still talking about how stunning the venue was and how wonderful the service and accommodations were. Everything—from the ceremony space to the reception—felt elegant and seamless.
If you are considering this venue for your wedding or any special event, I cannot recommend it enough. It was truly a dream come true, and we are so grateful we chose this location to celebrate such an important day. Once we toured this venue with Bridget, my husband and I knew that this is where we wanted to get married. This venue is absolutely stunning. We used The Beaufort Hotel for every part of our wedding, from rehearsal dinner to guest lodging, to the ceremony and reception. They were so easy to work with, and it definitely helped that our planner/florist (knot a second thought) had worked with the hotel so many times in the past. The hotel also provided the food for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. The morning after, we chose to have breakfast at the hotel as well and I can honestly say that we didn't have a bad meal all weekend, their food is a 10/10. Bridget & Amanda are very good at what they do, and we are thankful they were a part of making our wedding weekend so amazing! I also can't tell you how many of our guests had not been to The Beaufort Hotel before & they have told us that they will definitely be going back!The Beaufort Hotel's reply:

The venue itself is stunning, but the people are what make it exceptional. From the hotel rooms and beautiful views to the bar and restaurant, our guests loved every part of their stay.

The Beaufort Hotel truly exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding weekend. From the very beginning, we dreamed of a celebration that felt effortless, both for ourselves and for our guests. Beaufort Hotel made that possible in every way.
From the moment we toured the hotel, we were completely hooked. We were so blown away by the property, the atmosphere, and the overall experience that we honestly didn’t even want to look at other venues. It just felt like the one right away.
One of the best parts was being able to turn our wedding into an entire weekend experience. Having everything in one place allowed us to spend more meaningful time with our favorite people without the stress of coordinating multiple locations. It created such a relaxed, seamless atmosphere that we’ll always be grateful for.
The staff was incredibly helpful, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process. We always felt supported and confident that everything was being handled with care and attention to detail. On the day of the wedding, everything flowed so smoothly, allowing us to be fully present and soak in every moment.

We got married here during a horrible winter storm. We had so many changes the week leading up to the wedding and the hotel was truly incredible. Bridget, Amanda, and every member of the hotel staff worked hard to make our wedding special and were so accommodating to us and our guests. So many guests talk about how the hotel was one of the best they’ve experienced, and I agree. Food was incredible, venue is obviously beautiful, truly can’t beat it. Cannot say enough good things! We hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the Beaufort Hotel, and it was absolutely perfect! Everything went so smoothly. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was wonderful. The water views were absolutely gorgeous and made such a beautiful backdrop for the whole weekend. It was so nice to be able to give guests the option to stay on site so that no travel was needed. From the very beginning, working with Bridget and Amanda was truly a joy! They made every step of the planning process easy, organized, and stress-free. Their communication, care, and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease and genuinely excited throughout the entire journey.
The hotel itself is stunning! Every staff member we encountered treated us like family, which made such a difference. We stayed at the hotel when we came for our tasting and were blown away by the experience as it confirmed we had made the right choice.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the Shackleford Room, which was the perfect intimate space for our closest family and friends to gather before the big day. I reserved the Waterfront Suite for my bridesmaids and me the night before the wedding, and my husband and I stayed there after the reception. It’s hands down the most gorgeous suite we’ve ever stayed in! To make it even more perfect, it’s located right next to the Ballroom where we had our reception, which made everything incredibly convenient.
We held our ceremony in front of the pavilion, with the option to move it underneath in case of rain. It poured all morning on our wedding day, but right before our ceremony, the clouds parted and the sun came out, giving us the magical outdoor ceremony we had hoped for. It was surreal.
The food and service were phenomenal! Our guests are still raving about it! We also rented golf carts from the hotel which made for such a fun way to cruise into downtown and enjoy the area before and after the big day.
We’re endlessly grateful for the memories we made here and for the incredible team that helped bring it all to life. Highly, highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a truly special and seamless wedding experience! -

The Most Magical & Perfect Experience
The Beaufort Hotel was the perfect wedding venue for us! Bridget and Amanda were incredible to work with—they made the entire process of selecting the spaces, curating the menu, working with the timeline and coordinating our room block seamless and ensured every aspect was well-executed.
The hotel itself is stunning, with gorgeous waterfront views and a beautiful ceremony and reception space that created a magical and romantic atmosphere. We even saw the wild horses several times throughout our stay!
All of the food was absolutely delicious—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The oysters from our cocktail hour were the best we've ever had! The service was 5 stars - bartenders and servers were fabulous.
Friends and family traveled from all over the world, and they were continuously complimenting the property to us!
Everything about our New Year's Eve wedding exceeded our expectations. There is something so magical about the coast in the winter and this venue in particular is decorated so beautifully in December. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate, and we are forever grateful for the experience from The Beaufort Hotel!

August 26, 2023 - Our Dream Wedding Venue
Blake and I wanted a wedding venue that could serve us in more ways than just a wedding venue. As we were looking for an out of town venue that wasn’t too far of a trip for our guests, yet still a distance to get away for the weekend and enjoy, we fell upon The Beaufort Hotel. We knew from our first tour of the property with Kimberly that it was definitely our dream venue/destination. We knew we would be in good hands, have the best service, the best food and enjoy the best location/ hospitality that the property has to offer. We cannot thank Bridget and Amanda enough for the year of planning that led up to our special weekend and all of their hard work that went into making everything flow so perfectly from the many virtual meetings, a couple of site visits and tasting, to many calls and emails. They were there every step of the way to help us make our dream wedding come true on August 26, 2023. As wedding week approached, they executed the whole week perfectly as we had many guests traveling in for the whole week.
We had over 200 guests travel in to stay on property, and we cannot praise this fabulous team at the Beaufort Hotel enough for treating us and our guests with 5 star service and hospitality that was out of this world. Many of our guests are still raving over our hotel.
As far as our ceremony and reception, this team of rockstar event professionals fully went above and beyond our expectations. From the ceremony in front of the pavilion, to our cocktail hour upstairs on the veranda and our tented reception on the beautiful front lawn, we could not have asked for anything better. Our three course meal for our reception was amazing, and our guests definitely have not forgotten how delicious it was. As I mentioned before, a lot of our guests stayed onsite all weekend enjoying the pool & pool bar, 34 North Restaurant and Bar and the late night service at the 34 North bar - the service was incredible all weekend long.
The Beaufort Hotel will always hold a very special part in mine and Blake’s lives, and we cannot thank this team for its amazing service all weekend long and for being able to help us fulfill our dream wedding! We are looking forward to staying on-site again for many anniversaries! Much love to the dream team! -

Wedding of our Dreams!
I grew up in Beaufort, NC and always had the vision that I would return and get married in my hometown. The Beaufort Hotel was a dream, and our wedding was stunningly beautiful! We were even lucky enough to have the wild horses make an appearance during our cocktail hour (talk about lucky!!)! Bridget, Amanda, ownership, the banquet staff, and everyone involved were so thoughtful, kind, accommodating, and great to work with. They brought our vision to life with a smile, and for that we are so grateful. They truly cared about making our day special! I highly recommend getting married at this storybook venue! -

The Beaufort Hotel looked like something straight out of a fairy tale for our December 29th wedding. From the moment we met with Bridget and Amanda everything was easy and organized. They allowed us to step outside the box and create the wedding of our dreams in a very short timeframe. Everything was doable. The food was amazing, and the staff couldn't have been more wonderful. We had over 50 guests come from out of town and stay and everyone had a positive experience, and many can't wait to come back. Italian Indian Wedding
The Beaufort hotel is not only a breathtakingly beautiful place to get married (rain or shine) but the staff and coordinators made everything so seamless. From the planning to the day of they were so attentive and quick to respond. On the day of the wedding the staff was so efficient and our guests raved about the amazing food and how it came out hot and cooked to perfection. The Marlin Room was the perfect setting for my son and daughter-in-law’s Rehearsal Dinner. Bridget, the Sales Catering Manager, was amazing to work with! From my initial email inquiry to the site visits and all communication in between, she was responsive and ensured that all was ready from the smallest detail. I wanted the event to be more than just a dinner but an evening of a delicious meal, a video celebrating the couple, and a quartet for entertainment in a beautiful setting. The Marlin Room was perfect for the evening's events! We did take advantage of the golf cart shuttle service so guests would not have to walk across the street from the gravel parking lot. In addition to Bridget, I cannot say enough about Amber and her staff. They worked diligently in preparations that afternoon with a smile and much kindness. All throughout the evening, I was very impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, and hospitality. They were a joy, and they made a great team! I cannot sing their praises enough! In regard to the meal, we chose the Land and Sea package, and the food was absolutely delicious. I am so happy that we chose the Beaufort Hotel for the Rehearsal Dinner and commend its staff for going above and beyond to make it a memorable evening enjoyed by all! I highly recommend The Beaufort Hotel and specifically The Marlin Room for any event coupled with their exemplary staff! -

I had the best experience working with Bridget and her amazing team at the Beaufort hotel! I got married there in November of 2021 and had the support of her team from the moment I booked the venue in April! Bridget and all the members of her team are very professional, timely with their thoughtful responses, and super detailed oriented. There were never any gray areas while planning with h them and they were super helpful with answering any and all questions I had regarding vendors! I highly recommend the Beaufort hotel not only as a venue but also for their exceptional catering services! The food and bar service at our wedding was amazing and all our guests are still talking about it! We love the beaufort hotel!
I cannot recommend the Beaufort Hotel enough!! Bridget and her team were professional and highly communicative from the very beginning! I planned my wedding from Seattle and they worked with my travel plans to schedule our tastings and meetings. They responded very quickly whenever I had questions and reached out to me directly if my input was needed. We also planned the rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch through the hotel and both went off without a hitch!
The venue itself is gorgeous. The ceremony and reception space were set up with beautiful white table linens. All our guests absolutely loved the food!! The steak and grouper were delicious! -

Our wedding at the Beaufort Hotel exceeded our expectations! When we first toured the property we felt that it had a picturesque “Disney-like, welcome home” look and feel to it. The venue is seriously stunning! During our 10 months of wedding planning, we worked closely with the hotel’s event manager, Bridget. Bridget is incredible and was instrumental in making our wedding the best day ever! She was quick to answer every question I had (and I asked a lot of questions) and went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied and had everything we needed for our big day. Our wedding planners frequently commented on how fabulous Bridget was! We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the hotel so it was very nice and convenient for us, and for our guests, to be in one place all weekend. During the wedding weekend, everyone at the hotel treated us and our guests SO WELL with big smiles on their faces! Everyone from the bartenders and waiters to the valet staff seemed genuinely happy to be helping out with our wedding. I cannot imagine getting married anywhere else. The Beaufort Hotel was the whole package and provided the best wedding experience. I highly recommend this amazing venue! I promise you will not be disappointed! My now husband and I cannot wait to go back to the Beaufort Hotel for anniversaries and weekend getaways. Thank you Bridget and everyone at the Beaufort Hotel! -

My Covid Wedding
The Beaufort Hotel was a wonderful and beautiful place to get married! The staff was so helpful and understanding with everything constantly changing as covid-19 continued. They helped us solve a plethora of problems and we eventually settled for what can only be described as the party of the year! They were very gracious with their standards for cleanliness and no one got sick from the whole affair. It was truly a wonderful experience! Managed to enjoy every moment of it! -

The absolute best!

The best venue ever!
If you are even slightly considering the Beaufort Hotel, just do it!!!!! If you aren’t considering, you need to!! Our wedding day was more than we could’ve ever dreamed of because of the helpfulness of the staff at the Beaufort Hotel. The food is unbelievable, the staff is amazing, and the venue is absolutely picture perfect! The views are seriously the best and the hotel is decorated so beautifully. Also, Beaufort is such a wonderful small town, everyone will love visiting. We cannot say enough great things about the hotel, staff and how easy they made planning our wedding!!!! We got married during COVID and they were so accommodating and responded to us so quickly, even while they were working from home! Seriously, you will not regret choosing the Beaufort Hotel!! -

Dakota Sent on 07/03/2016I was in love with The Boathouse before I got to lay my eyes on it, I had watched a video of a previous wedding that happened at The Boathouse and loved the venue! We knew we wanted a beach wedding but I wasn't really looking to have my toes in the sand. My family has been vacationing in Atlantic Beach since before my time, and every year that I can remember we when we were at the beach for a week we would make a trip to Beaufort on night, so it has a special place in my heart, and I thought why not start our lives together there. We seen the Boathouse during the Crystal Coast bridal salon. Secrette was so nice and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We scheduled a tasting about 10 months out and was able to try Chef Kenny's signature dishes (I cannot get over the shrimp and grits they are so tasty! ). As the wedding approached I talked with Secrette more and she helped me finalize the menu. The menu was a hit our guests continue to talk about how good everything was. The Boathouse is a very unique venue, check it out! -

We had our wedding reception at the Beaufort Hotel last month. Everything went even better than I imagined! All of the staff was so accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed. Our guests also loved the hotel and have already told us they are trying to find a reason to come back and visit again. We were even able to see the wild horses and dolphins which was a nice surprise. The food was also fantastic. If you’re having a wedding here soon, I recommend the lamb chops!The Beaufort Hotel's reply:

My husband and I immediately fell in love with the Beaufort Hotel. From the views, service, and food, we knew we wanted to get married there. Amanda and Bridget were so responsive and answered any question that I had during the planning process. We got married inside the pavilion and it reminded me of a small chapel. The reception space was perfect for our guest size (140) and we appreciated the warmth (cold weather). We can't wait to plan a getaway every year for our anniversary!The Beaufort Hotel's reply:
