Park Wedding Venues in North Carolina

Whalehead was our dream venue. We hosted an 180 person outdoor wedding in May 2024 and we had the time of our lives! We got really lucky with temperate weather, had our ceremony on the Point outdoors, a perfect cocktail hour under the trees off the west porch of the building, and a massive dinner and dancing reception under a huge tent on the North Lawn with Corolla Light in the background. Whalehead was super accomodating and responsive throughout the entire process - big shoutout to Samantha Payne and Chris Hooper! They made sure we had all the permits we need and were so helpful as we worked to organize our various on site vendors for the big day. We had a few folks who required special care and transport and Chris and the golf cart were a wonderful addition to the day. We cannot wait to come back and renew our vows here someday or just visit and take some pictures :)

Our wedding at Wunderland was amazing! The property is nestled in a beautiful valley with plenty of space to spread out while also naturally creating an intimate container for our friends to connect. The ceremony space they've created is tucked up on a clearing in the woods and was perfect for our aesthetic and love of nature. We took advantage of their "Full Spirit Wedding" and spent the night in the beautiful Yogi Villa while friends and family spread out through their other awesome accomodations or camped under the stars. Shawn and Kate, and the whole Wunderland crew, helped us create a wedding many of our guests told us was "perfect in every way". Shawn officiated our ceremony with poise, calm and boundless good humor. Thanks you to Wunderland for helping us to create such a special, loved filled celebration!

We had the best time as Basecamp. Everything was even better than expected. including the unbelievable from Summit Lodge. We loved Walking the private trails and spending time by the fire pit with Friends. Relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, was just what we needed.

We had our small wedding at Earth Sky Dwellings, and it was absolutely perfect! We were able to use most of the property for our guests to stay the night, which made the whole weekend feel extra special and relaxing.The space itself was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. Being able to use the provided wedding themes and decorations took so much pressure off of us and made everything run so smoothly. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our day!

If I could give Alexander Homestead more than five stars, I would gift-wrap them in gold and hand-deliver them back to the team. ⭐️ From the very first planning meeting to the last dance of the night, we felt genuinely cared for. As two busy working professionals, the structure and support from Wedgewood Weddings & Events made our planning process feel manageable and bite-sized instead of overwhelming. Every step was organized, clear, and thoughtful. It allowed us to actually enjoy being engaged instead of drowning in spreadsheets. Sarah, Virginia, and Savannah were phenomenal. Truly. They anticipated needs before we even voiced them, answered every question with patience, and made us feel like our wedding was the only one that mattered. On the day of, Savannah in particular took such intentional care of both me and Kevin. She checked in constantly, kept things flowing seamlessly, and made sure we were present instead of stressed. As chefs and hotel people, service is everything to us. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The team followed our directions perfectly, respected our vision, and executed it beautifully. A moment that meant the world to us was watching the service staff go above and beyond to help my autistic nephew find something “safe” to eat during dinner. That kindness and awareness is not something you can train into people. It’s heart. We also loved the intentional use of small businesses throughout the process. You can feel that Alexander Homestead values community and craftsmanship, and that matters. Our day felt seamless, warm, and deeply cared for from start to finish. We walked away not just married, but genuinely grateful. If you’re considering this venue, stop looking. You’ve found it. 💛

I was the event coordinator for my friend's big day, and the owner, Stephanie was an absolute Godsend. She was there early the day of the wedding and helped me set up every little thing, even helping me make the sangria for the guests. She stayed throughout the wedding and only left when she knew we had everything under control. She was kind and funny, and I was so, so grateful for her. I couldn't have pulled it off without her! Not only her, but the venue and the cabins were AMAZING! I stayed on sight for the weekend and felt right at home, the lightning bugs at night gave me such calming nostalgia, and everything was so cozy and thoughtfully put together. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

All I can say this venue is beautiful and is a nice place for a wedding or any kind of celebration. The owner and staff was on point and everyone was helpful on making sure everything was ready. The food was awesome especially the steak. The outside ceremony was beautiful from the flower garden to the butterflys that swarm around us. It was breath taking. Thanks again Mariani.

Amazing location for the views alone, but Jess and Jody really helped in making the day incredibly special. They were both EXTREMELY accommodating even when the weather wasn't. Not only was the venue incredibly peaceful and serene during a chaotic weekend+, but there were just so many behind the scenes details that were handled expertly by the Nantahala Weddings and Events team that I'm sure I'm not even aware of. I hope to return frequently.

As Mother of the Bride, I feel my experiences will be as much important as the bride's, so I want to express how absolutely fantastic it was working with Jessie and her team. She was energetic, knowledgeable, extraordinarily helpful and quickly responsive to any and all questions we had throughout the entire process. The grounds are gorgeous, the home on the property so convenient and cozy! Proximity to Asheville is great - not so remote, but remote enough to be peaceful. I would wholeheartedly recommend Twisty Maple as a wedding venue that combines nature and elegance to create the perfect wedding setting.

Had a wonderful experience at the garden for our ceremony and our portraits. Everyone was wonderful to work with and helped us with everything we needed. It was amazing even though the weather didn’t cooperate. Thank you again DSBG!
