About
Tuxedo Falls: Mountain Wedding Venue in Western North Carolina
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, Tuxedo Falls is a private waterfall wedding venue offering an immersive nature experience for couples seeking something beyond a traditional ballroom setting. Located in Zirconia, near Hendersonville and Asheville, this boutique mountain property blends refined design with the raw beauty of forest, creek, and cascading falls.
Tuxedo Falls is known for its rare Appalachian “acidic cove” forest ecosystem, five private waterfalls, trout streams, and lush rhododendron groves — creating an unforgettable backdrop for ceremonies, elopements, rehearsal dinners, and full-property wedding weekends.
A One-of-a-Kind Wedding Setting
At the heart of the property is a 3,300-square-foot luxury Bushtec Safari Lodge — a permanent tented structure with heating and air conditioning, bar service, catering kitchen, restrooms, and flexible reception space. The Lodge opens to outdoor decks and forest views, allowing celebrations to flow naturally between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty.
Ceremonies often take place at:
- The Green, large lawn with mountain/sunset views adjacent to the lodge, patio & fire pit
- The Confluence, ie coming together, of two creeks, amongst rhododendron/mountain laurel
- The Laurel Deck, a private deck overlooking a cascading water
- The foot of Tommy Falls, a large cascading waterfall
- The Campfire Patio at sunset, adjacent to the lodge, patio & fire pit
Whether planning an intimate elopement or a weekend wedding retreat, couples have exclusive access to a setting that feels both secluded and elevated.
