Located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Point Lookout Vineyards is a romantic wedding venue. With views that stretch for 30 miles, this setting offers unparalleled areas of natural beauty for such a special day. The winery resides on top of the southeast slope of Point Lookout Mountain, where it gets both refreshing breezes and warm sunlight. As well as hosting ceremonies and receptions, the vineyard is also known for producing award-winning wines. Couples can host their engagement party, pre-wedding shower, and rehearsal dinner here. Intimate elopements are also welcomed.
Facilities and Capacity
Point Lookout Vineyards includes a spectacular open-air pavilion that can be used in all kinds of weather conditions and can accommodate up to 300 guests. It comes with a charming stone fireplace with roll-down weatherproof walls. The outdoor ceremony site is located on the mountain, with stunning views of the valleys below. The property also comes with two spacious get-ready rooms. These can be used by the couple and their party for relaxation and preparation before the big day begins. Catering companies can avail of a full-service support kitchen as they get ready to serve the event.

Point Lookout Vineyards provides a beautiful setting as well as a plethora of event amenities to help your day run smoothly. Couples who choose this winery for their celebration can rest assured that theirs will be the only wedding held there that day. They will remain the center of attention for their milestone. Tables and chairs are supplied by the vineyard, and the team here is happy to set up and take down your chosen furniture arrangement. Guests can be greeted by parking attendants on their arrival to the vineyard, while a shuttle service can bring them right to the celebration. To-be-weds can also avail of assistance with planning, to support them during this busy time. Audio and video equipment can be supplied to support your wedding entertainment, alongside an area for dancing. An in-house bar with experienced bar staff will enhance cocktail receptions and celebrations. Along with the vineyard's wines and meads, they also have local beers that can be provided for your event.

Perfect for an Elopement
A Perfect Day at Point Lookout Vineyards!
They offer discounts for weekdays and off-peak times. Chairs and tables are included with the site which makes this venue a better value than most. Plus, with all of the beauty provided by Mother Nature, a lot of decoration is truly not needed!
One thing that we really loved about the venue was the bridal suite complete with a full bath! It was large enough to give the girls a nice place to relax and get ready before the festivities began. There is also a groom's suite complete with TV so the boys could bring their game systems for entertainment. These rooms allowed the bridal party to stay tucked away when the guests arrived.
We hired Cindy as our Day-Of Coordinator and had constant contact with her from the moment we booked the venue. She has a list of preferred vendors so this gave us a starting point for catering, music, transportation, etc. She guided us through the wedding process and calmed this Mama's anxiety more than once!
Cindy and her staff at Point Lookout Vineyard helped to create the most perfectly memorable wedding day for my daughter and her husband. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Cindy, our day-of coordinator, was absolutely instrumental in making our wedding day everything it was. From the moment she stepped in, she brought a sense of confidence and calm that immediately put us at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and thoughtful in ways that go far beyond a checklist. Cindy anticipated issues before they ever became concerns, handled logistics seamlessly, and quietly solved problems without drawing attention to them.
Waiting an extra year made the day even more special. After the storm, after the uncertainty, we were reminded that some things are worth holding on to—and worth waiting for. Point Lookout Vineyards gave us more than a venue. They gave us peace, beauty, and a wedding day we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Mike and his staff have put so much thought and heart into this treasure, that it will make a lot of couples' dreams a reality. Doesn't everyone want to be married on top of a mountain, while sipping some of the best wine around with their closest family and friends? The Vineyard is so close to Hendersonville, Asheville, and Lake Lure, out of town guests can make a nice long weekend trip and enjoy all the sights. This truly will be one of Western North Carolina's top wedding venues!
