My husband and I loved having our wedding at the newly renovated Tampa Marriott Water Street! We really appreciated how accommodating and helpful they were throughout the process of postponing. Huge thank you to Brittany Erigo in particular, she was the one who helped us throughout the entire postponing process and she definitely helped ease a stressful situation. She was a pleasure to work with and also helped book my bridal shower at the JW Marriott across the street, which was also a huge success. As for our wedding, our ceremony was held right down the street at Sacred Heart Church so it was extremely convenient to get to and from the venue. Our room block was also held at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and all of our guests loved the rooms, the hotel and the fact that there was a lot to do nearby. My husband and I also had luxury suites booked for the weekend, we loved them as the suites are newly renovated and are very big so can accommodate a good number of people. Our cocktail hour was held in The Florida Ballroom Foyer, followed by our reception in The Florida Ballroom. All of our vendors and coordinators at the hotel worked together to make our special day the best day of our lives thus far. Our entire wedding day ran so smoothly from start to finish. My bridesmaids and I were able to get our hair and makeup done in one of the meeting rooms next to the ballroom, which was super helpful and accommodating so that our suite didn't get too messy. The ballroom ended up looking absolutely breathtaking (shout out to our amazing vendors) and all of the staff were so kind, professional, fun and helpful. Execution of the entire night was perfect. My husband and I had a dedicated staff just for ourselves the night of the wedding and it was a fantastic experience (Miriam was amazing). The food and drinks were also 10/10, everything tasted delicious. As our event manager, we worked with Jeni Wallace in the beginning but then began working with Christine Alejandro after the pandemic. Jeni & Christine were both always very kind and professional. I saw them both the night of our wedding and was able to thank them in person for everything they had done to ensure that our special day was everything and more. We were blessed to be able to have such a great experience working with the Marriott and truly wish we could relive our wedding day over and over again!

Overall dream wedding and amazing staff and team

The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was the perfect venue for our wedding! Katie was THE BEST on-site coordinator and was very accommodating to our requests. She was very quick to answer emails and guide us through the process. We were planning the wedding from out of state so helped us out by sending pictures and allowing us to come stop by when we were in town/bring our decor in a little early. Having the venue at the hotel was so easy to set up the room block and add our welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Oystercatchers/Oystercatchers pool. Also my getting ready suite was included in the package. There were no hidden or unexpected hidden costs for the entire weekend. We fell in love with our venue room the second we saw it. The Skylark ballroom on the 14th floor has indoor/outdoor options, has AMAZING views of Tampa Bay and the water, downtown Tampa, and planes flying in from the Airport. All of the serving staff and bartenders were on the ball and attentive. The food was great and the passed horderves and espresso martinis were a hit! The balcony/rooftop with Skylark can have a bar and tables outside and this was really a hit with all of our guests as we had beautiful weather. They are very familiar with having weddings here so the team worked seamlessly with my month of coordinator and other vendors. There are also ample rooms and spaces if needed for weather backup options. Being able to take the elevator up to the room at the end of the night and not have to worry about coordinating transportation was definitely a plus. We had all of our guests join us for a pool day on Sunday. Its a quiet location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It truly was a perfect weekend and venue!

We had our wedding reception party at the Epicurean Garden Terrance. This venue is truly a gem and convenient for both local and out of town guests. Our event coordinator, Nicole M., was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was great with communication, accommodated all of our needs, and ensured our reception day went as smooth as possible. The Epicurean allows a variety of vendors, and the quality of their own food/beverage package was great! When our party ended, we were all able to enjoy the rooftop bar afterward. All of the hotel and event staff were kind and accommodating. We received several compliments from guests regarding the event space, staff, and how great the whole weekend was at the Epicurean. I highly recommend the Garden Terrace for any type of party!

Frances Ramirez made our dreams come true!! I had an Egyptian-American wedding for about 170 guests in the ballroom. Frances worked well with our coordinators and had everything streamlined. She was able to work with my vision regarding seating arrangements and even offer halal options for dietary restrictions. The bridal suite is huge! Great to get ready in!! One thing I wasn't happy about was I had to move my wedding back 6 months. It was moved from a saturday and I was told the only availability was a sunday due to lack of availability of the hall during June. However, the minimum food and beverage charge was the same. (many venues offer a cheaper minimum on a Sunday especially for a summer wedding in florida). Overall, it was a great experience in a beautiful ballroom.

We got married at Hotel Flor in their room that holds 50 people. It was a beautiful venue and looked great in our photos. Our day went spectacular. The only bump was the food was a bit different than the tasting but not noticeable really and everything else was perfect. We loved our venue and the suite we stayed in was beautiful as well. The hotel was recently renovated and very convenience for our guests.

The Renaissance was one of the most beautiful hotels/event spaces that I had seen during our wedding planning. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make our wedding day special. I was incredibly pleased with the space (ceremony and reception) and the food was excellent. We received so many compliments on the meal selections and the variety of choices at the bar. I would recommend this event space to anyone.

From the day we initially visited the Westin to the day of our wedding, the Westin proved to have an amazing staff with exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. The event space was beautiful and our guests had a fantastic experience. We got so much positive feedback because of the stunning views. Tiffany, the catering manager who was our main POC from day one was thorough, her attention to detail was appreciated and she added ideas that we hadn’t thought of beforehand that we ended up using. Ahmed and Aziz were very helpful on our actual big day, helping the events run smoothly. Shout out to the valet staff, they were helpful. The young lady (we can’t remember her name) was very helpful and warm to my fiance and I from the first day we pulled up to the front. We would highly recommend the Westin Hotel for your wedding venue.

Our wedding here was absolutely perfect! We fell in love with the convenience of the downtown location close to the airport and right on the river. It truly is a venue that can’t be beat. Once we saw the reception space with the private veranda overlooking the river, we were completely sold. Samm was one of the best parts of the entire planning process. She connected us with incredible vendors and kept everything running smoothly throughout the year and a half we worked together. During the wedding weekend, the rest of the hotel staff was just as amazing. Every family member and guest was thrilled with the service from Hotel Tampa Riverwalk as a whole. We’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about every interaction they had from the food and drinks to the overall event experience. We could not recommend this venue (and Samm!) more highly!!

He is amazing. Very friendly and through with explaining everything. You just tell him what you have in mind and he will make it happen. Very happy to have Martin helping us with our upcoming wedding.
