Facilities and Capacity

Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore invites couples to relax and enjoy their celebration in a thoroughly modern and hospitable setting. To-be-weds can choose from a variety of spaces, allowing them to be flexible when planning their event. The grandest of these is the brand new Westshore Ballroom which can accommodate up to 160 guests. This spectacular salon looks out over the hotel’s pool. It features high-ceilings which support stylish, modern chandeliers. A refined setting with contemporary decor, it is offered as a blank canvas which couples can use to create their dream event. There are further smaller venue spaces for to-be-weds who wish to host a more intimate celebration. Couples can opt for the Bayshore or Florida Rooms for example for a medium-sized party of 100 guests. Alternatively, this space can be partitioned in two for a cozy gathering of close friends and family. Furniture including tables and chairs are included with the rental of the venue. Parking is available onsite.

Our wedding was recently here on January 31, 2015 and Melissa was the absolute best! Everybody at the Embassy Suites was absolutely incredible for our wedding and the year leading up to it that they got to deal with us! :) I don't think there was a single visit that we had with Melissa that the General Manager of the hotel didn't come up and shake our hands and thank us for choosing them which was so incredibly nice. The banquet captain the day of our wedding was incredible and helped everything run smoothly as did Melissa, chef, and everybody else involved. Everything ran as perfectly as possible and it was all thanks to the staff here (especially Melissa) and their ability to work well with my other vendors as well. For the wonderful area that this hotel is in, the prices were outstanding, the food was incredible, and the drinks were delicious. I am so thankful that we choose this incredible venue with these wonderful people for our special day! We love you guys and thank you so much for everything! Love, Sarah and Joe

We really enjoyed working with Melissa to create the best possible day for us. She was so helpful and cooperative from the very beginning. When we first met, I knew this was the place for my wedding because of how friendly, sweet and good willing she was. She really helps lay everything out for you to make it easier and less stressful for the bride and groom. Our day was amazing. The place was decorated beautifully and just how we imagined it. The only problem we encountered was that some of our family reported back to us that some of the servers were rude and they had to wait a long time for simple things such as more water. I was shocked to hear that but I think that this is something that can easily be handled by Melissa and the rest of the management at the hotel and is no reason not to go to this venue. I loved this place and would highly recommend it.

The 1st coordinator was not realistic about taxes (29%) the coordinator that took over was perfect at responding and being realistic about prices and offering alternatives . However on the actual wedding day , the staff waited until 4 pm
To set up TWO areas for ceremony and wedding , there was no one there that could answer any of my questions , the ceremony was set up so late that there was no time to finish decorating , it also made us start extremely late. .. I had ordered GOLD overlay for tables for reception and it was left off the final paperwork( my wedding colors were red & gold )so we has white linen with white napkins . I was so overwhelmed and the show had to go on. The food was great & the outside venue was beautiful ! All in all.. Everything was great until actual wedding day ,.. I think they were understaffed so I don't blame the workers , just the business itself . . We had to keep reminding the staff to bust the tables also. . Cake was being served with left over dinner plates. I think with charging 29%taxea we should have had that much confusion with the set up.
