I cannot recommend the Yacht Starship Tampa enough! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless. Wendy in sales made our booking effortless, guiding us every step of the way with professionalism and a friendly touch. Eric, the wedding planner, was truly exceptional—he didn’t miss a single detail and made our dream wedding come alive in ways we couldn’t have imagined. The food was outstanding, with every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. And the DJ kept the energy high all night, making sure the music flowed seamlessly and everyone stayed on the dance floor. From the impeccable service to the unforgettable atmosphere, Yacht Starship Tampa exceeded every expectation. It was a magical experience we will cherish forever!

The Renaissance was one of the most beautiful hotels/event spaces that I had seen during our wedding planning. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make our wedding day special. I was incredibly pleased with the space (ceremony and reception) and the food was excellent. We received so many compliments on the meal selections and the variety of choices at the bar. I would recommend this event space to anyone.

Frances Ramirez made our dreams come true!! I had an Egyptian-American wedding for about 170 guests in the ballroom. Frances worked well with our coordinators and had everything streamlined. She was able to work with my vision regarding seating arrangements and even offer halal options for dietary restrictions. The bridal suite is huge! Great to get ready in!! One thing I wasn't happy about was I had to move my wedding back 6 months. It was moved from a saturday and I was told the only availability was a sunday due to lack of availability of the hall during June. However, the minimum food and beverage charge was the same. (many venues offer a cheaper minimum on a Sunday especially for a summer wedding in florida). Overall, it was a great experience in a beautiful ballroom.

My husband and I loved having our wedding at the newly renovated Tampa Marriott Water Street! We really appreciated how accommodating and helpful they were throughout the process of postponing. Huge thank you to Brittany Erigo in particular, she was the one who helped us throughout the entire postponing process and she definitely helped ease a stressful situation. She was a pleasure to work with and also helped book my bridal shower at the JW Marriott across the street, which was also a huge success. As for our wedding, our ceremony was held right down the street at Sacred Heart Church so it was extremely convenient to get to and from the venue. Our room block was also held at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and all of our guests loved the rooms, the hotel and the fact that there was a lot to do nearby. My husband and I also had luxury suites booked for the weekend, we loved them as the suites are newly renovated and are very big so can accommodate a good number of people. Our cocktail hour was held in The Florida Ballroom Foyer, followed by our reception in The Florida Ballroom. All of our vendors and coordinators at the hotel worked together to make our special day the best day of our lives thus far. Our entire wedding day ran so smoothly from start to finish. My bridesmaids and I were able to get our hair and makeup done in one of the meeting rooms next to the ballroom, which was super helpful and accommodating so that our suite didn't get too messy. The ballroom ended up looking absolutely breathtaking (shout out to our amazing vendors) and all of the staff were so kind, professional, fun and helpful. Execution of the entire night was perfect. My husband and I had a dedicated staff just for ourselves the night of the wedding and it was a fantastic experience (Miriam was amazing). The food and drinks were also 10/10, everything tasted delicious. As our event manager, we worked with Jeni Wallace in the beginning but then began working with Christine Alejandro after the pandemic. Jeni & Christine were both always very kind and professional. I saw them both the night of our wedding and was able to thank them in person for everything they had done to ensure that our special day was everything and more. We were blessed to be able to have such a great experience working with the Marriott and truly wish we could relive our wedding day over and over again!

The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was the perfect venue for our wedding! Katie was THE BEST on-site coordinator and was very accommodating to our requests. She was very quick to answer emails and guide us through the process. We were planning the wedding from out of state so helped us out by sending pictures and allowing us to come stop by when we were in town/bring our decor in a little early. Having the venue at the hotel was so easy to set up the room block and add our welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Oystercatchers/Oystercatchers pool. Also my getting ready suite was included in the package. There were no hidden or unexpected hidden costs for the entire weekend. We fell in love with our venue room the second we saw it. The Skylark ballroom on the 14th floor has indoor/outdoor options, has AMAZING views of Tampa Bay and the water, downtown Tampa, and planes flying in from the Airport. All of the serving staff and bartenders were on the ball and attentive. The food was great and the passed horderves and espresso martinis were a hit! The balcony/rooftop with Skylark can have a bar and tables outside and this was really a hit with all of our guests as we had beautiful weather. They are very familiar with having weddings here so the team worked seamlessly with my month of coordinator and other vendors. There are also ample rooms and spaces if needed for weather backup options. Being able to take the elevator up to the room at the end of the night and not have to worry about coordinating transportation was definitely a plus. We had all of our guests join us for a pool day on Sunday. Its a quiet location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It truly was a perfect weekend and venue!

I have had the pleasure to celebrate my 2 daughters' quinceañera event. I am incredibly impressed by the service, support and willingness to meet and exceed all my expectations. My kudos to all the staff who made these events a memorable experience. Thanks international Event Venue for making my daughters to have a Cinderella moment.

Having planned several weddings, we were very very happy with Carrollwood Country Club for my daughter's wedding January 17, 2026. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a wonderful experience. The catering managers Tori & Heidi are Terrific !! The venue was very beautiful for the ceremony and then steps away we had a wonderful reception and dinner. The pricing is more than fair and the venue is beautiful. 5 Stars is not enough...... We've consistently used this venue for our all-day mindfulness retreat for the last several years. It is always a beautiful space to bring a sense of mindfulness to our participants. We love the outdoor space right on the water. They work with us to accommodate everything we need, even down to the smallest detail of the temperature inside the building throughout the day. We cannot speak highly enough of this place!

As soon as my fiancé and I saw the wedding packages at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club we were set on having our wedding there. They have a big staff to ensure everything was done with excellence with minimal stress on wedding day. I went into wedding planning knowing I was not a DIY type of bride and needed a pretty inclusive venue. This venue was more than a place to have a wedding, they were the caterers, coordinators, bartenders, decorators, and connected us to a DJ. They also have a hotel attached which the family and bridal party was able to stay in. The rooms were huge and perfect for our needs. The bridal suite easily slept all of the bridesmaids and had plenty of room for setting up for hair/makeup the day of. Some guests did have trouble booking rooms and communication was lost, but I believe it was mostly due to the hotel being closed and having minimal staff during Florida shut down. Laura, at the front desk made sure to make it all right and get everyone who needed a room a room. She was very easy to communicate with and made things smooth. We planned most of our wedding in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic which did cause some issues. There was turnover with the coordinator three times during the ten months of planning my wedding with them which caused some frustration, but I could not say enough good things about the current events coordinator, Gemma Craig. She was organized and kind and went above and beyond to make sure the rehearsal dinner and wedding was perfect. She communicated frequently and answered every question. She did an amazing job stepping into the role in a pandemic and making sure our wedding was better than we even dreamed. My husband and I also had an amazing experience at our tasting and loved everything we tried. The chef is amazing and the Food and Beverage Director, Jeff was incredibly helpful and personable making it a great vendor to work with. Even the bartender, Tom, made sure everyone had what they needed at the rehearsal dinner and reception. The catering director, Liz ran the show at the reception and had everything flowing. The staff as a whole bent over backwards to make sure we had a safe, healthy, and fun wedding in the midst of a pandemic. They opened up spaces, put less people to a table, and served food following all CDC guidelines. I highly suggest this venue for your wedding! It will be gorgeous and staffed with the best of the best.
