This venue delivers multiple spaces with an ability to host a wedding event for up to 500 people. Larger wedding events are fitting for the Audubon Ballroom, which includes room for tables, music entertainment and a dance floor. Guests can gather at a connecting space for socializing and cocktails prior to the reception. A stunning view from the Skylark's rooftop space will wow you and your guests. The floor-to-ceiling windows are the perfect lookout location to admire Tampa Bay. Host a wedding ceremony for up to 140 people on Oystercatcher’s Beach. This private beach setting will delight the visual senses with a view of the water of Old Tampa Bay. The Oystercatcher’s Hammock Deck is a deck area offering panoramic views of the bay for a ceremony or reception event. For couples wishing to celebrate an intimate wedding ceremony, the Gazebo is a private space tucked away by the nature preserve and bay. Gather up to 100 guests in the Snowy Egret Room, equipped with expansive windows. This space is adaptable, and can be used as a solo space or coupled with an outdoor ceremony along the beach.

Beautiful venue to host your wedding.

We were having a smallish wedding 65-80 people and toured this hotel. It is well maintained and while not new, still extremely nice. As we only planned the wedding 4 months in advance, the locations for a ceremony were limited. We originally wanted an outdoor venue, but ended up deciding on an indoor room. Thank goodness we did. There was a torrential downpour the entire day and night of our wedding. All of the other outdoor weddings planned at the hotel that night needed to scramble and move inside. But we were not stressed as ours was already inside.

We used the hotel as a host venue and every one of our guests stayed there. We also hosted a pre-ceremony reception outside the ceremony room. We wanted to do something different and had fun finger foods for hors d'oeuvres.. We had pigs n the blanket, fried Mac n cheese balls, mini pizzettes, French fry cones and pretzel bites. Our guests loved it.

We also hosted a Sunday brunch and it was also exceptional. Caitlin, the catering director, was incredible. Our event was her last as she was promoted to a new position at a different Hyatt hotel.

Lastly, we booked the bay view luxury suite for us to stay in, but also to use as a hospitality suite. While the suite itself was a little worn around the edges, the room itself was perfect. We often had 15-20 people hanging out there and there was plenty of room for everyone.

We couldn’t have been happier there with the venue. The only down side is that as a Hyatt member, I expected more credits for the rooms we booked. I personally booked 6 rooms. And yet I only received credit for 3 of them. Apparently that is a discoverist rule, which I had never heard of. I was extremely disappointed and upset when I learned that I didn’t not credit for the, especially after hosting an event there.

Wonderful experience!!

Would highly recommend this venue! We were so sure about this venue that we booked their newly renovated Skylark Ballroom (previously known as Armani's) without even knowing what the finished product would look like. The event coordinator Taylor was very professional and easy to work with. The food was delicious and everyone seemed to have a great time. Definitely the perfect venue for all different types of weddings!

Wedding Paradise

Having our daughter's wedding at the Hyatt was a wonderful experience. The venue is gorgeous and their staff is first class. We worked with the Event Sales Manager, Caitlin Schmedeke. She coordinated all the details and her services went far beyond our expectations.
