We had such a great experience with Karl Verkade Photography! Karl and his team (1 other photographer + 2 videographers) did an incredible job capturing every moment of our wedding day. They were professional, attentive, and really easy to work with. Karl also shot our engagement session in Joshua Tree, which was so much fun—he made us feel comfortable right away. On the wedding day, the full team was amazing. They were super accommodating with all of our requests, blended into the background when needed, but also gave great direction when it was time to get the shot. We can’t wait to see the final photos and video. Highly recommend Karl and his team if you’re looking for someone who’s both talented and easy to work with!

Mike is INCREDIBLE! From the moment we spoke to Mike we knew we were going to pick him to do our wedding. My fiancé and I have only done our engagement shoot with him so far and loved every moment of it. We both don’t always feel comfortable in front of a camera but Mike definitely knew what to say and show us what to do. He made us feel very comfortable and the pictures are came out really natural. He also gave us great suggestions on where to take our pictures. We can’t wait for our wedding!

The photography by Mirta and Joe at our wedding was all that we hoped for! They are truly a dynamic duo who were professional, kind and extremely responsive to our needs. Our wedding became a beautiful story that they captured in the most stunning photos that we will cherish forever. They expertly organized the photo sessions and where they would be – a gorgeous stairway, the beach or on the patio. Some of our favorite photos included our First Look, a warm embrace on the beach at sunset and dancing the night away with guests! We just loved the way they portrayed the excitement and emotions expressed by everyone on our wedding day! Mirta and Joe also worked well with the hotel staff and were totally unobtrusive, working tirelessly until the end of the evening. Our wedding album attests to the quality of their work – we cannot thank them enough for all their dedication and meticulous attention to details! Barnet Photography is outstanding and we highly recommend them for any special event, especially weddings!

I have been meaning to post this review since September, but life has gotten in the way. I think to do it like, every few days, since I want everyone to know how amazing this company was for my wedding. Corey is fun, professional and knowledgeable. I worked in production for a long time and had no shortage of potential wedding photographers, but the decision to go with OC Event Photos was a super easy one. He and his crew were on time (early, actually!) and he took calls with me before the wedding to ensure things were lined up properly. At the wedding, he was both fun to hang out with and also a brilliant photographer. Then, after the wedding, he turned around the photos quickly and they looked AMAZING. He is a great editor also (v important). Listen, friends. Your wedding will go by in a flaaaash. It's cool to cut corners on many, many wedding related things (who needs personalized napkins like are you serious) but do not skimp on the photographer(s). Your photos are your only tangible takeaway from the entire experience. They will open doors for memory and closeness and conversation forever. Go with a legit company -- actually just go with OC.

We choose Katelin for both our engagement and wedding photos for a seamless style. She returned so many beautiful photos it is going to be difficult to choose which to print. She is great to work with and was extremely flexible when it rained the day of the wedding. All our plans for first look, family, and bridal went out the window and she coordinated with our day of coordinator, the venue, and us to find alternative locations that gave us a similar look that we love. She was great with our flower girls, grandmas, and everyone in between. We gave her a shot list and she was able to complete everything in a timely manner without feeling rushed.
