Wedding Photography in Irvine

My daughter chose Kazuya Kimura Photography for her wedding on August 13, 2022 and I hired him for her special event. Simply stated, Kaz is an exceptional photographer, he excels at taking great event pictures, and he takes pride in his profession. He & his assistant, Nao, did a wonderful job in capturing special moments during the bridal party’s pre-wedding, the outdoor wedding ceremony, and the dinner reception. Kaz is very energetic and professional, plus he has a very likeable personality. He is easy to talk to and he wants to do the best photography for his clients. He makes event picture-taking look easy and he is particularly talented at capturing people perfectly with his lenses. A drone was also used during the ceremony for spectacular aerial shots. Jon was one of the best vendors at our wedding! He did an excellent job with both our engagement shoot as well as capturing the day of. From our very first Zoom interview, we could tell how personable and enthusiastic he was about his work. It came as no surprise when we found out that he has years of industry experience working with ad agencies and other commercial vendors, and he absolutely brought that level of quality and professionalism to his work with us. Jon is without a doubt a master of his craft. He was quick and efficient, good with improvisation, and clearly loves what he does. he also loves to experiment with different shots and is meticulous and ensuring that frames, angles, and lighting are all perfect. At the same time, he was also good about taking input from us about how we wanted certain things to go. During the day of the wedding, when everything was on a strict timetable, Jon was courteous yet firm in moving us along, ensuring that we managed to get all the shots we needed while still starting on time. He was dogged in searching for all the right shots, while still being inconspicuous enough to not get in the way. The photos that came from both shoots were amazing and well worth the amount that he quoted us.

Really appreciate all KLK did for us. Paul worked with us to create the unique experience we were looking for and Kristi has such a natural gift. She listened to exactly what we wanted and executed it perfectly. She was a ninja in the crowd getting candids and action shots, never interrupting the flow of th day/night. She made us feel super comfortable when taking the shots of just us. I normally hate getting my picture taken but Tricia put me at ease during the shoot. Recommend her HIGHLY :)

Wendy has been capturing beautiful photos for me for years. From my wedding in Hawaii, my son's very first pictures after delivery and more recently family portraits which included my daughter. She is so patient with kids and so helpful in making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is talented at what she does and her work expresses her passion for photography. Her photos are not just pretty pictures but captures life's most precious moments. I can't imagine having any other person capture these memories for me and my family.

Tiya was a dream to work with from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. Her edits were superb, capturing every moment effortlessly. She exuded calmness and creativity, taking control when needed. We were SO fortunate to have snagged Joe for our wedding. I just saw the images online and we are thrilled. It is so important to have a great photographer to remember the wedding, (and videographer if you choose to do so). It was really important to me was that he was quick with group pics.. So to have a quick photographer who produces amazing Candid's as well as posed pics is really priceless in the end. We were able to enjoy parts of our wedding that other couples don't get to because he gets straight to it. The images are phenomenal and have a slight creative edge. Joe is amazing to work with and very good and what he does. If I had to do it all over again, I'd hire Joe in a second.
