This is a beautiful venue for hosting a wedding reception, it was just what we were looking for

We had our ceremony and reception at the Bolling Haxall House, where they flipped the auditorium during the cocktail hour. The venue was beautiful, and the staff, especially Kyle and Larry, were an absolute dream to work with. A ton of space for the girls to get ready upstairs and there is a suite off the auditorium for the groom & co to get ready. They made picking up everything after the wedding super easy and have a full industrial kitchen, which is really awesome for the caterer.

What can I say about the Bolling Haxall House - the venue is just beautiful, classic, timeless. We absolutely loved having our ceremony and reception there. We could not have imagined getting married anywhere else. Our guests and parents loved it too. A big thank you to our wedding planner, CCS Events, for recommending Bolling Haxall House to us.

We had our reception after a church ceremony at the BH House and it was a 10/10 experience. The venue was the perfect size for the guest count. The stage was PERFECT for a band. The staff was so easy to work with and accommodating. Emma is a great event planner to work with, she is in charge of the wedding/events for the house! She is always there if you have questions and super helpful. She made the experience of planning and having the wedding there very stress-free.

I truly do recommend if you are having a seated dinner keeping the count closer to 170 and below if you want a good dance floor. 150-160 would be a sweet spot. (It might have also just been how we arranged the room)

The Bolling Haxall House was gorgeous! My husband and I were both so happy we chose it as our venue for the ceremony AND reception. It made things so simple - with their changing rooms upstairs, parlor rooms, gardens and ballroom! We had so much space to plan with and easily accommodated the 110 guests we had. The stage in the ballroom provided a perfect location for the DJ to setup and the ballroom was the perfect size for our guests + a dance floor during the reception!
Every room has its own charm and beauty - which really showed in each and every photograph! The manager is very pleasant to work with as well.

We were pampered. Prior to our visit, the venue team prepared a pdf for my fiancé and I to review, which detailed their services and offerings. The team answered all of our questions promptly. My mother and I received a private tour; later that day, we surprised them with a visit from my fiancé. The team was excited to see us and even introduced us to vendors for transportation and hotel accommodations. In addition, we were given a beautiful print of the venue, which we'll be using for our website and invitations. We couldn't be happier with this team!

I cannot say enough about how smooth things were throughout the wedding JUST BECAUSE I chose this as my location. My guests loved the proximity to options for places to eat, drink, party before and after the wedding. The staff is super helpful with information about parking, hotels and places for rehearsal dinners.

Their list of catering vendors is wonderful too.

This location has all the little touches that make it special.

What a beautiful place! If you're looking for a venue that gives you a taste of Virginia the Bolling Haxall is what you want. The staff were warm and friendly and very accommodating. Loved Becky, Crystal and Mr. Anderson!

My new husband and I used the Bolling Haxall House as the venue for our wedding, cocktail hour and reception. The contact with the house was "Becky" and she answered all of our questions, was flexible in allowing us to visit the venue as the wedding progressed and everything happened as was promised. The venue is gorgeous inside and outside. Choose the Bolling Haxall House, you will be glad you did!

I cannot say enough positive things about the BHH and staff, and I would highly recommend hosting your wedding reception here! The venue itself is stunning, both indoors and out. Our guests, especially those from out of town, were enthralled by the home's rich history. And the space and decor make for breathtaking photos.

Becky Thomas is outstanding. She is knowledgable, professional, and flexible; additionally, she was very communicative throughout the planning process. The day- of staff was also excellent, keeping our guests organized and safe, and even helped my parents and vendors pack up our belongings and decorations at the end of the night.

Brides would be lucky to have their big day here!
