Located in Glen Allen’s West Broad Village, Bartizan is a full-service events venue offering scratch-made cuisine, craft cocktails, premium wines, and a fresh, exciting atmosphere for up to 250 guests. A sister property of Dover Hall, Bartizan offers the same qualified and experienced event managers to guide you through the planning process. With private access, premium audio-visual capabilities, 5G WiFi, and ample complimentary parking in an adjacent deck, Bartizan is the ideal location for your turn-key wedding experience.

The Ceremony:
Our Event Hall is the perfect 2,200-square-foot blank canvas for your customized ceremony. This stylish space has full audio-visual capabilities, private restrooms, and a separate entrance that allows a grand reveal of your cocktail and reception areas. The oak-wood focal wall allows for your ceremony backdrop to be uniquely yours and our dimmable farmhouse chandeliers set the mood that is most appropriate for your celebration.

The Cocktail Hour:
The White Oak Room provides a modern space with farmhouse accents, a large quartz stately bar, and customizable seating arrangements. Usher your guests from the Event Hall, through a private corridor, to the White Oak Room for a natural light-filled cocktail hour experience. Just outside the White Oak Room is a lovely covered and temperature-controlled patio, perfect for providing your guests with an indoor/outdoor experience. The lofted mezzanine is a great location for a photo booth, a stationary food display, or for your guests to privately catch up with friends and family.

The Reception:
Following your ceremony in the Event Hall, our team will magically transform the space providing your guests with a grand reception reveal! With a wide variety of table options, your floor plan is fully customizable. The private bar and restrooms ensure that your guest's convenience is a top priority.

Bartizan provides all the food and beverage services for your event. Dover Hall Experiences' incredibly talented in-house Catering Team will create a high-touch and elevated culinary experience for your wedding - from passed canapés to elegant dinners and curated bar packages. Bartizan was perfect for our wedding!

Bartizan was the perfect venue for our wedding! The size of the venue fit our guest count of about 100 people comfortably and the layout of the White Oak room and Event Hall was perfect for our wedding timeline. The wooden wall in the Event Hall served as a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, and having the dedicated bar in that room was very convenient during dinner. Our meals were delicious and beautifully displayed, and it was incredibly convenient having meals, drinks, linens and dishes all provided through the venue. The White Oak room was awesome for dancing, and the mezzanine and patio attached to that room served as great spots to take breaks from dancing. Our event coordinator, Stephanie, was great to work with. She was very quick to respond to all of questions and happy to work with the ideas we had for our wedding. All of they day-of staff and servers who supported our event also did a great job, taking care of all our guest's needs. Finally, the location of the venue was very convenient for planning our other wedding events around - we managed to find a hotel, after-party location, and morning-after brunch location all within walking distance of Bartizan. Highly recommend Bartizan for a Richmond wedding!

Would 11/10 recommend them!

My wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner and after-party for our wedding at The Bartizan. The team was extremely helpful in not only getting everything planned but putting it all together. They did a fantastic job of making our special day go perfectly and we can’t thank them enough. Would 11/10 recommend them!

We had the best rehearsal at Bartizan, the food and drinks were amazing

We had our rehearsal dinner at Bartizan, and our wedding at Dover Hall, and to say the staff is great, is an understatement. Their communication, knowledge, and expertise is something that is truly unmatched. We had the best rehearsal at Bartizan, the food and drinks were amazing, and the venue is so pretty, well-kept, and very clean! Kate was great to work with, she communicated mostly with my mother-in-law, but she always kept us in the loop with all the things rehearsal dinner-related and was very accommodating! They really made everything SO easy, working with them was one of the best decision of our wedding.

The absolute best time!


Bartizan, the sister property of Dover Hall, was the perfect choice for our wedding after-party, and I can't say enough good things about our experience there. The staff at Bartizan were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The food they provided was not just good; it was incredible, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it.

Kate, in particular, deserves special mention because she was nothing short of fantastic. Her attention to detail and dedication to making our after-party a memorable one truly shone through. Our guests had an absolute blast, and it was the ideal way to continue the celebration after our wedding. Bartizan exceeded our expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional after-party venue. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories!

The whole staff was very friendly and the service was excellent.

I held my daughter’s bridesmaids’ luncheon at Bartizan and we had such a wonderful experience. Kate was great to work with, very friendly, responsive and had great ideas. The whole staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. Our bartender was super accommodating of some different requests and made a delicious signature cocktail for the day. The passes appetizers were so darn cute, among them a shrimp app that looked like a mini terrarium! Food was all delicious and service was stellar. Five stars! I highly recommend! I’ll be using them again for sure!

Hands down staff, food and location was perfect.

My daughter used Bartizan for her rehearsal dinner. The entire process starting from the beginning to the end, working with Delaney Ogden was the best ever! She was able to give us exactly what we wanted. The details that she provided matched everything that we wanted. The food was great and the presentation perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone to use to celebrate any occasion. Hands down staff, food and location was perfect.

The Perfect Venue

We fell in love with Bartizan before it became an event only space. Kate and Stephanie were so great to work with - they kept in touch at every turn and made sure things were being done. The staff was great on the day of and all the guests were happy! The space was the perfect size for our wedding party (114 total) and Bartizan made the transitions between spaces so easy. Because the space itself is so beautiful, we didn't have to bring in a ton of decor, which made planning and execution much easier as well!

Perfect location for a intimate wedding!!

Bar-ti-zan was the perfect venue for our wedding! When we first visited Bar-ti-zan and saw the event space we knew it would be a great fit. We had both our ceremony and reception in the event space. Working with Delaney and her team from the beginning to end was easy and they were very accommodating. The attention to detail was wonderful and all our guests loved the food and desserts. The day of the wedding Cara and the staff had everything ready and easily fit into the background and kept the evening running smoothly. We are so glad we choose Bar-ti-zan to host our wedding!!
