Welcome to The Tin Ballroom, an authentic 19th century private event space in the heart of historic Hudson. Within the Tin Ballroom are two magically historic spaces -- perfect for weddings, receptions, photo shoots, as well as rehearsal brunches and dinners.
The first floor named "The Catskill Mountain House Hall" is 3,600 sq ft loft-like space for larger seated parties that holds the original grand columns taken from the Famous 1820’s Catskill Mountain House.
If this space doesn't whisk you away into another era, the 1,500 sq ft second-floor ballroom will. It was used in the mid 19th century to greet and entertain the town’s elite. Today this beautiful Tin Ballroom still boasts its original pressed tin walls and ceiling, dramatic windows and floor-to-ceiling mirrors that create one of the area’s most elegant and desirable historic venues.
Couples can now host an elegant seated dinner downstairs in this 19th century time capsule surrounded by stately columns with a skylight above. After the meal take the celebration and dancing upstairs to the 1,500 square foot pressed Tin Ballroom with romantic mirrored candlelight sconces much like an authentic ballroom would have had in the late 1800s.
The convenient central Warren Street location offers ample parking, easy access to Amtrak, and Hudson’s many inns and boutique hotels all within walking distance.
The Tin ballroom is an amazing venue with unique features right in the heart of Hudson NY. We have successfully catered events here as well a series of cooking demonstrations, and we look forward to many many more. John & Chef Jeff
