Settles Hill Banquets & Events is an outdoor wedding venue located in Altamont, New York. This gorgeous farm location specializes in creating wedding and banquet planning options for their clients to help them curate their dream event. Facilities and Capacity

Settles Hill Banquets & Events boasts 10 acres of lush land as well as a 4500 square foot ballroom. The ballroom has a capacity of approximately 300 people and is bathed in natural light that filters in through the elongated windows that adorn the walls. There is also a separate banquet room that accommodates up to 75 guests. This room has a rustic bar which is perfect for wedding attendees to order drinks from. A bridal suite may be used for getting ready, and the entire property is one floor, allowing accessibility for all.

History

Settles Hill Banquets & Events originally began life as The Tree Farm Restaurant in 1991, owned by Jock Farnsworth. Carver Laraway purchased the property, inclusive of 465 acres, in 2005 after Jock's passing. The DePasquale family took over operation of the facilities in 2008 and has been continuing to improve the property ever since. Some of these improvements include a pergola, a wraparound porch, and renovated event spaces.
