The Lodge on Echo Lake - a rustic wedding venue in the Albany, New York area - offers mountainous beach weddings on the sandy shores of Echo Lake. Towering pine trees surround the rustic lodge’s wooden walls and sloping green roof. Less than a half an hour from Bolton Landing on Lake George, the venue is just over an hour’s drive from Albany.
Facilities and Capacity
Up to 200 guests can join couples on their big day at The Lodge on Echo Lake. The property has numerous outdoor ocations for ceremonies including the option to exchange vows on the shores of the lake. Ceremonies can also be held on the deck of the lodge. Inside the lodge, couples will find floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake and rustic accents, including its signature antler chandelier, under which guests can dance the night away. An open-air outdoor pavilion also provides space for couples’ weddings or rehearsal dinners.

The private cottages contain various-sized beds, private bathrooms and a mini kitchen. The bunk-style cabins have bathrooms but no showers and come with a porch. Lodging is seasonal and based on availablitiy.

Great Adirondack venue!
The owner Emily and the coordinator Kathy were such a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I worked with Kathy through every little detail and she went above and beyond making sure everything was answered and everything I wanted was perfect.
They even allowed our dog to be involved in the wedding ceremony and he was able to stay in the cabin with us!
Overall it was such a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this venue!
The Perfect Venue for Us!
Kathy was absolutely incredible to work with- she is beyond knowledgeable and always so responsive, kind, and helpful. No matter the question, she had an answer right away and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported and taken care of. She made decisions easy and helped everything come together seamlessly.
The venue itself is beautiful and incredibly well thought out. We had around 170 guests and the space never felt tight - the dance floor was huge, the bar was perfectly sized, and the layout flowed so well. The balcony/deck overlooking the lake was a huge highlight.
It was also amazing for our out-of-town family, with many guests able to stay on-site in the cabins. The food was outstanding, and the entire team was professional while still making us feel truly special. We couldn’t recommend this venue more - it was perfect all around. My husband and I talk about how we wouldn’t change a thing about it!

The Lodge on Echo Lake is one of my favorite places to photograph. They have an Adirondack feel and it's very catered to your wedding or event only, you have the entire place to work with yourself, which is important. We've captured many weddings at this location over the years. They are great to work with and it's always a good time. OOTO looks forward to working at this venue again!
The Lodge at Echo Lake offers such a wonderfully beautiful and relaxes setting for any couple wishing to get married in the Adirondacks. Their property offers so many different options for your wedding weekend and their staff is nothing less than professional and caring. We have had the privilege and honor of photographing weddings at this beautiful venue many times over the years! One of our best weddings there was for the Curtis Family, of Curtis Lumber and the staff from the Lodge made my clients very happy with their reception including the ceremony. The grounds outside the venue has many photo opportunities for great photos, especially at sunset down by the Lake! We absolutely love the rustic, yet elegant feel you get from their mail ballroom! The dance floor is amazing with the high ceilings and large gorgeous windows that allow the room to shine!
