Once a centerpiece of financial luxury, this venue has been redesigned into an elegant ballroom that still retains many of the classic architectural designs of the past while having a modern atmosphere. Facilities and Capacity

The Empire Ballroom is the main space for ceremonies. This space features color-changing water walls and a state-of-the-art acoustic system. The 45-foot matchbook Carrera marble walls and an ornate painted ceiling, which dates back to the original 1902 construction, will leave your guests astonished at its awe-inspiring beauty. This space can accommodate up to 300 guests without a live band and up to 225 with one. The Vault is an exquisite and upscale lounge space crafted as an original bank vault with a 6-foot round steel door and safety deposit boxes. This space is perfect for couples looking for a spot to have their wedding ceremony, reception, or cocktail dinner.

The Presidential Suite is an intimate and stately bridal suite that leads to a private on-suite restroom and an additional point of entry. This bridal suite provides a homey and quiet space for brides to get ready for their special moment. For private functions, the bridal suite can accommodate up to 20 guests.

The VIP Room offers a unique and stylish space that features custom booths, glamorous smoke mirrors, upholstered walls, and a chandelier made from safety deposit keys. Both bride and groom can use this room to celebrate their first moments alone in marriage.

Most Gorgeous Ballroom in Albany

As a DJ who's worked several weddings at Sixty State Place, I can't say enough about this venue. From the jaw-dropping Empire Ballroom to the intimate Vault lounge, every space radiates elegance. The staff? Top-notch. They make sure every detail is perfect, leaving me free to do what I do best – keep the dance floor packed. If you're after luxury and style for your wedding, look no further.

An Incredible Day

When my husband and I first got engaged, I was SO excited to spend forever with him, but the idea of planning a wedding filled me with anxiety and made me nervous. I've never planned a wedding before, I didn't even know where to start, and quickly found myself getting overwhelmed.

We went to visit Sixty State Place and the moment I walked in the door I was blown away. The beauty of the building speaks for itself; the marble walls, the ceilings, a bridal suite filled with luxurious history, vault doors - it was amazing.

What made me fall in love with 60 State Place even more, and was the reason we decided to have our wedding there - was the absolutely amazing, kind, sweet, patient, and supportive Nour.

From day one Nour told me that everything was going to be okay, that she was going to help me figure all of this out and there was no reason for me to be overwhelmed because now I had her to help me. I felt so comforted by her, and she guided me through the entire wedding planning process - like the sister I never had.

Nour knew exactly what I wanted before I even did, and had a whole vision for what the space should look like to reflect what my husband and I like. Nour even went out of her way to have some special surprises for me the day of our wedding which were amazing.

The food, the service, the staff - everything about our wedding was incredible and a 10/10.
Everyone at Sixty State Place went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and we will be forever grateful for the beauty they delivered that day.

Nour will do everything in her power to make it all perfect, and she did just that for us.

My wedding was perfect

Let me start with I had four weeks to plan my wedding and Nor promised me that she would take care of everything. When I tell you she did everything as promised and more I was absolutely amazed at how everything turned out. The guests loved the food, drinks and deserts, everything was so planned out and beautiful. Any time I had a question Nor was quick to respond and even set up late night video chats to discuss to make sure my day was perfect. And honestly thanks to Nor and the team my wedding was absolutely perfect, it was my dream wedding, really. I loved everything about Sixty State and I would recommend it to any bride who doesn’t want to have to hire a bunch of outside vendors.
