We booked Ivy Room for our July wedding because it is stunningly beautiful and we knew the food would be great through Lettuce Entertain You (it was). What really ended up making it stand out, though, was the level of professionalism from top to bottom and the attention to detail for each moment of our reception. Abby was a joy to work with and was accommodating of every decision and last minute change that we wanted. The wait staff were awesome and attentive. We even got multiple compliments on the bartenders, which we didn’t know was a thing people complimented. And a special shout-out to the maitre d’ Giuseppe who was magically always there with whatever we needed as if he could read our minds. We would recommend Ivy Room to any couple looking for a perfect spot for downtown Chicago wedding.

Amazing wedding!
The Ivy Room is an amazing wedding venue! We had Leslie and Kiran as our day of coordinators and they were a dream to work with. Ivy Room makes the process so easy and responds promptly. We booked the venue right before COVID shut down and have dealt with the COVID regulations. Ivy Room was so transparent and willing to work with us due to COVID rules ever changing. They work with all your vendors to coordinate day of, they help with day of timelines, and think of all the small details and questions so there is not a thing to worry about day of! We were blown away by our wedding. We had our ceremony and cocktail outside which were unforgettable and the reception inside the ballroom. It was perfection. The staff is so professional and willing to help. The food (and food tasting) are divine and beyond delicious. We received so many compliments about the venue and how it was a flawless day. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the Ivy Room and our experience. Highly recommend this venue!

The perfect venue
We are so grateful that we chose to have our wedding at the Ivy Room! The team truly went above and beyond to make the day special and stress-free for us. From the food to decor to the coordination amongst vendors, Natalie (our day of coordinator), Kiran, and the whole team made our day a perfect one. We initially chose the Ivy Room with a vision for an outdoor ceremony looking at the big ivy wall, and when it became clear that rain would make that impossible, we were initially very disappointed. But Natalie and the team transformed the indoor space, threw open the wall of doors to the courtyard, and made the venue a magical space for the evening. The way the space came together was better than we had ever imagined. And we still snuck outside for photos and a sparkler exit too.
If you're considering the Ivy Room as your venue, know that you'll be in great hands with their team. (And definitely get the package with a day-of coordinator from the Ivy Room!)

The Ivy Room is one of my favorite venues in the city! The courtyard is a dream and I've seen the different rooms take so many different shapes. A beautiful, diverse venue in the heart of the city! Their co-ordiators and staff are top notch! Helpful, polite, cheerful and a w e s o m e! Truly a gem in every way imaginable, I can't wait to shoot another wedding at The Ivy Room!
As a wedding photographer, having the right venue for a wedding is so crucial to beautiful images. The Ivy Room is no exception! It's an absolutely stunning place - from it's jaw-dropping courtyard and wall of ivy to its beautiful reception room, this is one of my favorite places to shoot! Not to mention that the staff is more than friendly and accommodating. After shooting 3 weddings here this year, each wedding is prettier than the last! They continue to wow me with how gorgeous this place is and just all the possibilities to dress it up to make it unique to each couple!
