We got married this past November at Firehouse Chicago. Teddy, Sarah and their on-site coordination team were fantastic. We had our ceremony and reception there. We loved the venue but also the organization and attention to detail provided by Teddy and Sarah. We had a small wedding but felt overwhelmed at the start of our wedding planning. Teddy and Sarah made the wedding planning process stress free. They communicated with us consistently, helped us make a schedule, gave suggestions and executed everything perfectly. They also provided us with a list of vendors that were fantastic to work with. Our guests still talk about our wedding and the day was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Words cannot describe how incredible the Firehouse and the Firehouse team are. But I will try. Our wedding was truly a dream come true. Every corner of the Firehouse is full of charm, character, and beauty. But even more memorable than the space itself was the team behind it. Sarah and Teddy and all of the Firehouse team went above and beyond from day one. Their guidance and support throughout the entire planning process was invaluable, especially since both my partner and I were working full time. They made everything feel seamless. We are so grateful for their care, responsiveness, and warmth. You can tell they genuinely care about their couples and treat each wedding with love. My only regret is that since I’m already married I can’t have another wedding at the Firehouse! Maybe a vow renewal in the future. My wife and I cannot thank Teddy, Sarah, and the whole staff at Firehouse Chicago enough! They were so professional, prepared, and organized that it made the whole wedding process so seamless. You would be hard pressed to find this level of care and coordination at a different venue. From great recommendations on vendors, to helping coordinate the decor and ceremony on the day of, to everything else in between, we felt taken care of every step of the way.

As for the location itself, the historic firehouse building is beautiful inside and out; original finishes and adorable decor inside along with the fantastic landscaping and gorgeous ivy wall outside made for beautiful photos and memories. Our guests were also thrilled when we entered the reception from the 2nd floor via firepole! Where else do you get to do that?

We would recommend Firehouse Chicago to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue and a phenomenal staff for their wedding or any other special gathering.

We were so happy to have chosen Firehouse Chicago for our November 2024 wedding. The venue is so charming, and Sarah and Teddy helped us plan an incredible event. We had about 70 guests, and this venue was the perfect size, with plenty of room for dancing!

The space itself is so beautiful and interesting—even the ceiling and tables—that you don’t have to put much money into decor. I recommend springing for the candle package they offer, as well—added such a nice touch. Our autumn wedding was so cozy and perfect. The ivy on the side of the building turned into beautiful autumn hues that looked so cool in our photos.

The planning help in addition to day-of coordination and setup/takedown really helped eliminate the inevitable stress. Specifically, they helped coordinate my walk down the aisle so that I was walking to very specific lyrics (+ the incredible DJ Jessi from Groove is in the Heart). It was timed perfectly!

The entire staff was wonderful. I couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went, how classy and cute everything looked, and how quickly they got everything taken down at the end. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. I have nothing but warm feelings!

We are so so glad we found and chose the Firehouse for our wedding. We had around 80 people on a late Autumn day and the place felt perfect - inside and outside. Everyone loved the venue. It is just really special and one-of-a-kind.

Leading up to the day itself, Sarah and Teddy and their team were so friendly, enthusiastic and professional. They were highly responsive, crucial in helping us think through the plans and keeping everything organized for us, and gently patient with our many moments of indecision and mind-changing along the way.

We got a really beautiful, cozy, and memorable venue and great wedding planners -- all for a price that was well worth it.

My husband and I recently got married at the Firehouse Chicago on 11/2/24. This was the first venue we toured and we fell in love instantly. Sarah and Teddy and the entire Firehouse team made wedding planning enjoyable and stress free so we could focus on enjoying our special day.

The opening staff was friendly and took the initiative to set up our decor, programs, signage, floral, and seating with minimal direction from my end. What they put together was a beautiful setting on top of an already stunning venue. The closing staff organized all of our decor and belongings at the end of the night in record time making set up and shut down as painless as possible.

In addition to the beautiful venue and wonderful staff, Firehouse gave us a list of recommended vendors including catering, photography, and DJ. This made wedding planning much easier and we ended up having food, music, and photos our guests are still raving about.

Most importantly, as a gay couple, we were looking for an inclusive venue that was welcoming to all and the Firehouse delivered on all fronts. I cannot recommend this venue enough to anyone looking to get married in Chicago. We saved so many costs and headaches thanks to their organized planning and exceptional service and support.

I attended a wedding at Firehouse some 8 years back or so now and at that time couldn't imagine getting married but if I did, it would've been at a beautiful venue like that. Fast forward to 8 years later and we got married at Firehouse. My wife fell in love with the venue as soon as we pulled up. Its a 1920s firehouse and alll the beautiful, unique, and intricate details make the venue absolutely gorgeous. The details from outside, inside, and the rooms are beautiful. The location is amazing and everyone at the wedding loved the ambience. You don't even need much decor with how beautiful the space is. Highly recommend the 3 rooms upstairs.

Now for the staff, Sarah and Teddy helped us up to the wedding and were organized and very communicative. They supported us throughout with decisions and made sure the day of went perfectly. I literally cannot think of a thing I would change because how smoothly their help made the event go. The staff who opened put out the decor and it was perfect. They were extremely caring and helpful. One Firehouse member had helped fix our polaroid cause a guest messed up putting in film and he was right on top of it. The staff was so caring and helpful! Thank you all sooooo much!

Book firehouse for all your events. You would not regret it at all!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Firehouse and it was perfect! The venue is GORGEOUS and has a million little details that our guests loved. Sarah and Teddy were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout the entire planning process. They answered all of our questions quickly, and were amazing at coordinating with our vendors and making sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. The rest of their team were INCREDIBLY helpful on the day of, and were asking us constantly if we needed anything. I would highly highly recommend!!

Our guests could not get over how unique and charming this venue is! The flow between rooms throughout the evening was perfect. We rented the whole upstairs and got ready there, which was a huge bonus. There are so many great places to take photos here without having to leave the premises. Not to mention, THE COOLEST reception entrance ever--the fire pole!!

Firehouse is an adorable, vintage wedding venue in the city. When my husband and I saw it we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. We didn’t realize that on top of a perfect venue we would also be able to work with above and beyond staff who made our wedding an absolute dream. Sarah coordinated everything while being so easy to work with including answering all of my silly questions! She made me feel at ease with everything going on, including when a vendor changed their timeline just a few days before the wedding. The day of staff were also amazing, on the ball helping with everything, and so kind. I can’t say enough amazing things about Firehouse!
