Olivia just understood us! From the very beginning, her creativity and professionalism helped my fiance and I sculpt the wedding of our dreams!

We called Olivia after speaking with many caterers about approach, cuisine and budget, and we were honestly getting a bit defeated. My first conversation with Olivia was so incredibly refreshing in that I told her we are trying to decide between tacos or barbeque and she responded with a very effortless, "why choose?". This immediately put me at ease as we started to brainstorm together. All other caterers were now subpar.

She crafted a beautiful menu for us that included mini (single-bite) sized tacos as part of the hors d'oeuvres and an upscale barbeque with hometown roots for the entree. Our guests have not stopped RAVING about our food (strong accolades for the BBQ still rolling in from our Texas and Tennessee-native guests, so you know it was great!).

At the start, my fiance and I were trying to work within a budget of $10,000 for catering for our wedding at 501 Union, which is why so many vendors either laughed and told us to consider food trucks or opened with all of the ways we would have to cut in order to meet the budget, including not serving the cuisine we envisioned. Although our initial quote started around there, we added some things along the way that landed us around a total of ~$11,500, including an additional server to pour wine at the tables.

We received a truly personalized experience with Olivia. She even stepped in to work with us directly when we had questions and get saleswoman was unavailable! From the first conversation through the tasting and our wedding, Olivia was one of our top vendors. Her saleswoman, Christina, was excellent at offering advice and ideas as well as suggestions from other events they'd catered (either at 501 or otherwise). Christina handled all rentals through Broadway Rentals (a requirement of our venue) which was VERY helpful! On staff, Olivia also has a food design team member who created the most instagram-worthy displays! Definitely an added bonus.

**Additional note for catering a wedding at a venue that doesn't provide anything but glasdware: One thing I'd like to add for consideration for anyone trying to budget accurately for a wedding, is the rentals. There's no way to get an accurate number early, so we were kind of thrown off when that estimate came back just under $4k a week before our wedding. We improvised and provided the linens, plates and some cutlery ourselves to bring costs down, but just want to share that for those concerned about unknowns in their budget (FYI, our wedding was 125 people and Olivia provided a buffet service).

Not a wedding but a 90th Birthday Party for my father as a plated dinner for 19 people in our apartment. Olivia and her team exceeded all of our expectations (which were very high to begin with) in every way. The food was fabulous, the service gracious and timely, the planning and coordination flawless and flexible and their ability to come into your home and run an event as if it were their own kitchen (allowing us as hosts to feel like guests and enjoy our own party) was exceptional. They helped create a memorable evening for all of us. They made everything seem so easy which, as we know, only happens with a lot of hard work! Kudos and thanks to the whole organization from the initial contact through the final cleanup. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Would give them more stars of the app allowed.

Our guest loved the food, we loved the food what else matters? They were very helpful in putting a menu that reflected our desires and taste. Made adjustments to cut cost. Obviously Olivia is the Genius behind it all but Christina is priceless and Rob was perfect on the day.

We hired Olivia Cooks for You for our September 2019 wedding. The company handles everything, from ordering the rentals, to walk through, to catering waitstaff. The food was amazing! No cold sad entrees here! The entire setup- from the market table to the entrees and passed appetizers was great. The communication from Christina, who handles the business/logistics was responsive. She walked me through all the details and was on top of delivery of the event.

Olivia Cooks for You catered our Brooklyn brownstone wedding this past weekend and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was “out-of-this-world” delicious and so beautifully displayed that our guests could not stop talking about it. Olivia created the most beautiful and delicious spread (which got rave reviews from all the guests). Matt was so friendly, putting us at ease about everything, and extending his stay so we could continue the party for a bit longer. We cannot wait until we have the opportunity to work with Olivia and her team again!

We loved working with Olivia and her team, especially Christina who helped us plan and orchestrate all the details of the day. We had a number of requests to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences and, with every weird request, they just said, "sure, we can do that!" Olivia and Christina were easy to communicate with and whenever we had trouble making decisions about the menu or event flow, they offered their guidance and expertise. We had at least 4 guests say it was the best food they ever had at an event! Many more complemented us on the delicious meal. Above all, the service was incredible. Things ran flawlessly and everyone was very well fed! You know you found an amazing caterer when the Argentines love the steak, the Italians love the burrata and the French love the cheese table all while keeping the vegans happy with an incredible roasted cauliflower dish. The food that Olivia cooked for my wedding was SO AMAZING. I really can't say enough good things. The food was good enough to please everyone from the super picky all the way up to the super food snobs. People RAVED about the food after the party. Christina, our catering coordinator, was my rock for helping me sort everything out and was a total pro when dealing with my overly-anxious brain. Even the catering servers they brought in were very professional and on top of everything.

We hired Olivia Cooks For You to cater our 175 person wedding in Brooklyn, New York in August 2018. From the beginning, Olivia and her team were so professional and helpful. Olivia was able to curate a menu that worked for us. We wanted a buffet style dinner with an hour of cocktail service (passed appetizers) and dessert. Our guests were complimenting us on how great the food and service was the entire night. We had some minor changes to the menu before the wedding and Olivia was able to accommodate them. Her team really did a fantastic job. Our particular space, which was a rented out restaurant beer garden with a big backyard was challenging in terms of seating. We had to work with the venue. The Olivia Cooks For You team (especially Christina, her sales and planning manager) went above and beyond to help us work out space needs that were related to catering.
