We weren't a conventional couple (I proposed to my now-husband) and we knew we didn't want a conventional wedding. But we didn't really know what that might look like. Modern Rebel--specifically Amy and Adriana--were exactly what we needed: kind, thoughtful, open-minded, fun, creative, organized, and very experienced.

We were lucky enough to work with Molly and Shaine from Modern Rebel as "day-of" coordinators for our August 2023 wedding. Molly took over all vendor communications starting 30 days before our event. Molly inspired instant trust with her obvious expertise and clarity about the process. She gave clear schedules for when things would happen and alerted us to a huge oversight in our planning process until then. We were provided with clear and thorough forms and tables to fill out; it was obvious how completely the Modern Rebel team thinks about event planning.

The day of organization was so comprehensive I literally felt like a wedding guest and had to try to remember it was my wedding. Molly handled several unexpected happenings the day of (e.g., gale force winds, a collapsed cake, etc.) with verve, always coming to us with clear descriptions of the issue and a solution already in motion or the exact thing we needed from her "emergency kit." We have since heard tons of stories from guests about the variety of things Molly handled for them that we weren't even aware of.

Last, but not at all least, Molly is a singularly delightful person who added such enthusiasm to the process and validated all our ridiculous wedding ideas. Working with her was not only indispensable for our wedding day, it was an absolute pleasure.

Cait Godfrey at Modern Rebel was a godsend of a day-of coordinator for our August wedding reception. Cait quickly got to know us and our needs, and made our celebration happen exactly as we envisioned it. She made us feel comfortable as soon as she got involved in the process, and took so much work off of our plates that we felt almost guilty gliding into our reception without a care.

We had a pretty lightweight reception, but we still got hands-on care that made us feel special. The quality of Cait's work stood out head-and-shoulders above what we've seen from other wedding coordinators.
