Located in the beautiful County of Bath in Virginia’s Western Highlands, Mont Shenandoah is an historic property offering a unique setting for a destination mountain wedding weekend. The tree-filled green space alongside the fresh waters of the Cowpasture River is just one of many outdoor spaces that provide a natural backdrop for a gorgeous ceremony. There is ample space for an outdoor cocktail hour, perhaps on a high bluff overlooking the river, or a seated dinner under a tent or in our quaint dining hall called The Feedbag. Guests can enjoy music and dancing in West Lodge, our Adirondack-style, board and batten recreational hall. Lodging is available on site in traditional camp cabins and a few climate controlled buildings with modern amenities, so that guests can take advantage of the grounds and river throughout their stay.
