Lexington Catering Company was hands-down the superior choice for our wedding catering. We used LCC for our wedding of 160+ guests, and every aspect of the experience was absolutely seamless from start to finish. From the passed hors d’oeuvres, to the bar service, to one of the most beautiful buffet displays I have ever seen, LCC made our wedding feel incredibly luxurious while still remaining surprisingly affordable.

Catering is often one of the largest wedding expenses, and when it came to balancing cost, quality, presentation, and service, Lexington Catering Company stood completely above the rest. Compared to other catering companies we were quoted, their level of quality and professionalism was simply unmatched for the price.

Most importantly, every single dish at our wedding was genuinely outstanding. Before our tasting, I learned that all of their food is prepared fresh using locally sourced ingredients and that nothing is ever frozen — and honestly, you could absolutely taste the difference. Everything felt elevated, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared.

For cocktail hour, we had pimento cheese deviled eggs, lump crab avocado toast, and lavender satay chicken skewers, and our guests are still talking about them. The chicken skewers in particular were completely out of this world. For dinner, we served a spring salad, mushroom risotto, Mediterranean chicken, flank steak, and summer ratatouille, and every single entrée was flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked perfectly.

Lexington Catering Company also handled all of our bar service and created our two custom signature cocktails: a Cosmopolitan and a Whiskey Mule, both of which were huge hits with our guests.

We worked directly with Sue Ann throughout the entire planning process, and she was absolutely incredible. She was responsive, knowledgeable, organized, and truly cared about making our wedding day perfect. The entire LCC team executed everything flawlessly, and I cannot recommend them highly enough for any wedding or special event.

I am SO glad we went with Lexington Catering Company - words cannot describe how much work they put into helping us create our menu, being flexible as things changed, and the level of service they gave on one of the hottest days in July. We wanted really casual food (sliders and tacos) and they totally delivered on creating action stations that would fill our guests up but also keep the food vibe casual. We went for the hot pretzel bar (and the pretzels are homeade and baked fresh every morning and you can tell!), and the custom cocktails they produced for us were soooo good, special shoutout to their spicy marg! My only regret is that my dress was so tight, I couldn't eat all the potato salad I wanted to (it's the BEST), but I truly cannot recommend this catering group enough - everything was delicious from start to finish, and our tasting day was one of my favorite memories of wedding planning. Shannon was especially responsive and beared with us through so many changes, so we appreciate her very much!

Lexington Catering Company was great to work with for our wedding and we received a ton of compliments on the food. They handled all of our chair and table setup, rentals and setup for linens/glassware/flatware/etc, dessert table setup and replenishing, and bartending. Everything went without a hitch and was perfect! And did I mention the food was delicious? Would recommend for anyone looking for a wedding caterer!

Sue Ann and her team catered our wedding outside of Charlottesville this fall. From the beginning, Sue Ann was so lovely to work with - she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and flexible. She gave us great suggestions for our menu and everything the day of was just perfect. We got so many compliments on the meal and spent most of our honeymoon continuing to munch on leftovers because everything was so good. Lexington Catering Co also did our desserts and made us a cutting cake and amazing mini donuts! Our family and friends loved that they could easily grab one and get back out on the dance floor. We had a buffet style dinner which included all flatware, glasses, and plates which made things super easy for us. Not to mention, the cost was much more reasonable than many other caterers I spoke to. I would 100% recommend Lexington Catering Co.

We used Southern Inn Catering for our cake and mini desserts for our wedding and could not have been happier. The guests loved the desserts and they were so beautifully made! Great portion size, flavorful food, the passed appetizers were stunning and so delicious, main meal was so great people went to the restaurant the next day to try more of their food. And working with their team was a breeze.

Our entire experience with Southern Inn Catering was wonderful. As soon as we saw their menu options, we knew we’d found our caterer. Choosing a quality caterer was very important to my husband and I. We wanted delicious, high-quality food without breaking our budget and that’s exactly what we got. They have options for every wedding style- appetizer and entree stations, passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet style, themed stations, etc. We originally had decided on appetizer stations but decided to go with the passed apps instead and we couldn’t have been happier. We were able to have 5 passed hors d'oeuvres, which was great because it was so hard to choose between the different options. We wanted variety and with that option we were able to have everything we wanted.
We specifically worked with Haidyn, who was a lifesaver. She answered any and all questions we had and took the time to explain the different options and pricing and helped us make decisions that best suited our wants and needs. The rest of the catering staff was very courteous and did a great job making sure the guests were taken care of.
The food…the tasting was one of the best days of our lives. A table full of gourmet food, all for you, who wouldn’t want that?! Some of our personal favorites were the buttermilk fried chicken and waffles and the smoked gouda mac n’ cheese. Everything turned out just as delicious on the day of the wedding and I still get compliments from guests on how wonderful the food was.

We loved everything about Southern Inn. Absolutely one of the highlights of our wedding.
