For our rehearsal dinner, we had a hard time finding a restaurant in or near Frederick that would accommodate a large group. Monocacy Crossing was the perfect fit. It has a private room (no fee) for any size group, refined comfort food menu that appeals to everyone, very reasonable prices, a bar and patio area for guests that want to meet up after and hang out. The staff was great, you can choose a menu for your event and they just make everything very simple for you. It's not right downtown in Frederick, but neither are the hotels so driving was inevitable for people. It has a large parking lot though, so it's actually easier than trying to park downtown.

We held our engagement party at the Monocacy Crossing restaurant in November of 2006. The food was outstanding. You can see our menu at my wedding website at www.weddingwire.com/wong. We paid about $2,000 for a dinner party for 30 people. The party was held in the restaurant's private party room. It was very intimate and nice. The restaurant is a little hard to find, but we were looking for a convenient location around the Frederick area, so this was perfect for us. They are also wonderful to work with. Very highly recommended for an engagement or rehearsal dinner party!
