We held our wedding at Trummer’s, and it couldn’t have been more perfect — thanks to the amazing Victoria Trummer, the owner, and her wonderful team. Since I planned the wedding without a professional planner, I had countless questions along the way — from linen rental recommendations and sizing, cake and bar placement, projector and screen setup for the slideshow, and welcome table dimensions, to DJ booth location, available rental items, and even children’s meals and high chairs. Victoria was incredibly kind and patient, answering every email with thoughtful, detailed guidance.

During our tasting, she personally explained every dish and incorporated all of our feedback. On our wedding day, everything reflected exactly what we had hoped for — we truly felt heard, respected, and cared for. She even helped us plan the event timeline during the tasting, which made the entire day flow so smoothly.

All of our guests raved about the food, and everyone loved that the Winter Garden Room included access to the outdoor patio with a large awning. It was wonderful that all the patio tables and chairs were fully available — during cocktail hour, guests spent a lot of time there, enjoying the fresh air, socializing, and relaxing even before the bride and groom made their entrance. It truly added a perfect, airy, and inviting space for everyone to enjoy.

The venue itself is breathtaking — from the historic building’s long balcony (perfect for first-look photos!) to the tall white-framed windows surrounding the room, every photo turned out beautifully. The night ended with our guests lining the grand staircase, waving light wands as we said our goodbyes — a magical moment we’ll never forget.

Victoria stayed until the very end, working seamlessly with our coordinator and DJ to ensure everything went perfectly. She didn’t just feel like the venue owner — she truly felt like part of my bridal party. I’m endlessly grateful for her warmth, professionalism, and dedication. If our family ever hosts another celebration, I would love to return to Trummer’s without a second thought.

Trummer's and everyone working there made sure that our wedding and the days leading up to it were low stress and wonderful. I've wanted to get married at Trummer's since I was a little girl and it was everything I imagined. They were careful about my nut allergy and took great care in preparing everything. They were flexible about the room decor and allowing us to have the ceremony outside at the last minute because the weather was so wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator and team.

We absolutely love Trummer's and dinning there is always a great experience. We recently hosted our wedding reception here in the Winter Garden room and it could not have been more perfect. Victoria was amazing, guiding us through the process of making decisions from the initial contract, to the tasting, to making sure the day of went perfectly. We were able to customize the experience to perfectly fit the needs of our event and the staff was wonderful in taking care of all our guests and ensuring everyone always had excellent service. I highly recommend Trummer's for your wedding, either for both the ceremony and reception or, as we opted to do, a ceremony off site and the reception at Trummer's. There are multiple pricing options depending on the time of day, room, and number of guests to provide options for a wide range of wedding needs and sizes.

I cannot understate how amazing our wedding at Trummer's was, all thanks to Victoria and her team. My wife and I had been many times and were always blown away by the exceptional people, food, and drinks. There is so much natural beauty in the small wooded town of Clifton, and being so conveniently located near Fairfax, it made it difficult to consider anywhere else. Victoria and her team were exceptional in every regard, far exceeding our expectations for the entire event; it was the perfect blend of high class and fun. Every one of our guests has found time to tell us what a lovely, one of a kind experience they had. Victoria was amazing throughout the planning process, giving us a wealth of options and plenty of flexibility to suit our changing needs. On the day of the wedding she took care to ensure our DJ and photographer had both the space and resources they needed to get set up. She and her team blew our minds with the decor. The Winger Garden room is beautiful enough on its own, but the morning of the wedding I dropped by with a box of extra decorations and a haphazard description, and they turned it into the most beautiful room I have ever seen. The food was superb, served hot by an extremely friendly and attentive staff, and the drinks were even better, which helped our guests fill out the dance floor. I really cannot recommend this place enough! As a semi-regular to the restaurant I had high expectations, and they were totally blown away. If you're at all considering a wedding in the area, this should be your first stop.

Trummers was absolutely amazing and we cannot thank Victoria and Stefan enough. Their Winter garden room is the perfect venue that mixes the comfort of the indoors with the light and beauty of the outdoors. The food was beyond delicious and they even made a special soup for us which everyone wanted more of. Custom mocktails, amazing hors d'oeuvres, and an incredible four course lunch were the perfect treat for our guests. Everything ran seamlessly and looked exactly the way we wanted it to. Trummers is the perfect wedding venue for small and mid-size events and remains one of our favorite restaurants in northern Virginia.

We have eaten at Trummer’s several times over the past few years (in fact, we had dinner there the night we were engaged), and we’ve always loved this restaurant. When trying to think of places to hold our wedding, we were looking for something a little less traditional, and Trummer’s quickly became the only place on our list. I love their Winter Garden Atrium room, with its large bright windows and high ceilings, and the food and drinks here are just amazing. There are cheaper places, but for the 50-person wedding we were planning it worked out perfectly, and so much was included in the up-front pricing. We worked directly with Victoria Trummer during the entire planning process, and she was a joy to work with at every step. Our first meeting took place on an afternoon while they were setting up for another wedding; after seeing the room set up for a wedding and just after all of the flowers had been delivered, we instantly knew we’d made a great choice of venue.

Victoria was very helpful throughout the planning process, even when we were just getting started and didn’t have answers to many of her questions, she was very patient and understanding. She was extremely responsive to emails and provided suggestions on what we could do. We opted to handle our own reception playlist, so Trummer’s gave us direct access to their sound system and the speakers already in the room; we decided to make this a little more complicated by bringing in a Google Chromecast to hook up to the system, so we could make song/volume changes on-the-fly with a cell phone, and they were easy to work with to test this all out beforehand. The taste-testing to select appetizers, meals and the signature cocktail was outstanding, and almost certainly was the most fun part of our wedding planning.

We did hire a wedding coordinator/planner, and Trummer’s worked with them very well. The day of our wedding Victoria was away on vacation, but her staff made sure everything turned out perfect. They were able to store our flowers in the wine cellar the night before, and the ladies were able to get ready in the bridal room upstairs. Clifton provided a perfect backdrop for wedding photos, the Winter Garden room served as both our ceremony and reception venue, and their dining area/balcony hosted the cocktail hour. Overall, Trummer’s was the perfect venue for our wedding. So many of our guests commented on the wonderful food and the beautiful room (besides flowers and some candles provided by our florist, the decor was perfect as-is, so we didn’t feel the need to bring a lot of additional decorations or linens).

Victoria and her team were absolutely amazing! From before we chose Trummer's, the random trips we made to make sure the music would work, the tasting, and everything on the day of, Victoria was very responsive, patient, and flexible with us to make sure all the planning went smoothly. We had a tight timeline with getting hair,makeup, and photos all done before the ceremony, and she went out of her way to open the building earlier than normal to accommodate us. All of those positives and I haven't even gotten to the food yet. The food was delicious! This was one of the biggest reasons we chose Trummer's as we have eaten in their restaurant before and loved the food. Our guests could not stop talking about how great all the food was...and the best part is we now have the perfect place to come celebrate our anniversary! Thank you Victoria and staff for making our dream wedding come true!

Go look at the facilities in person. The size of your party will largely determine which room you use. And of course, so will availability.
Look at their wedding reception packages, then email the event coordinator . They are very willing to make all parts of the menu fit your desires. All the food is fabulous! All our guest felt special, and honored to be there. And we were very thankful Trummers helped us communicate our gratitude to each person attending.

Fantastic venue, food, staff and accommodations to include the ceremony, post- Happy Hour, dinner and dancing. Held this past June, we had 90 guests in 2 rooms adjacent to each other which made a spacious and very open venue to walk around freely to visit with guests. The staff was very gracious all the way around to include bartenders, serving staff, concierge at the door and Victoria, Connie and Stephen. Food was well prepared and hot upon arrival at every table. A great selection of food including main course selections and appetizers as well made for no one leaving hungry. The entire day was a great provider for memories to cherish!

Trummer's on Main is simply amazing. Everything you need is there and the food is deelish. The Winter Garden room is beautiful by itself that you do not need many decorations.
