Mountain Lake Club is a wedding venue located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. This 70-acre resort features scenic views and numerous sites to host your wedding celebration. Couples holding their event here are guaranteed an experience that they’ll treasure for years to come.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples can say “I do” on a picturesque white sand beach with memorable views of the 55-acre lake. You can later hold your reception on the beach, under the gazebo in the gardens, or in the Lake House. The two-story Lake House includes comfortable seating and a laid-back atmosphere. You can enjoy a delicious wedding meal and later dance the night away either inside the building, on the second-floor balcony, or both. The Lake House can accommodate up to 80 guests, while the balcony can host up to 50. This event space is surrounded by lush landscaped grounds. For larger gatherings, couples can avail of the venue’s historic ruins, the site where a stone-and-log lodge once stood and stone pillars and chimneys remain. The cement floor is also still intact, creating a built-in dance floor for post-ceremony festivities. This space can accommodate up to 200 people.

The venue works carefully with each couple to help them create the wedding ceremony and reception of their dreams. Here, you can bring in your own decorating ideas to customize the event space to suit your wedding vision. You may also choose your own outside caterer or request that the venue cater your event for an additional fee.

Location

Mountain Lake Club is situated about 1.5 hours away from Washington D.C. In addition, just minutes away from the club are the Appalachian Trail and the Shenandoah River. If your out-of-town guests are looking for extra activities after your festivities have ended, they can head to the Hollywood Casino in nearby Charles Town.
