We are a family owned and operated business serving the entire Washington DC, MD, and VA area... as well as world-wide destination weddings. We are focused on serving our clients first, and making sure the experience with us is a pleasant and comfortable one, where you can be yourself, but get amazing images to document those important moments of your life!

And of COURSE all the while getting gorgeous memorable images so you never miss those moments.
Sara has 22 years of Professional Photography experience, and has a variety of "styles" to offer the client, based on what they want. (examples: documentary, posed, candid, "posed-candids, as we call them", photojournalistic, traditional, lifestyle, etc. We like to think that all of these different styles are slightly incorporated together in our own style, kind of like a roll with different flavors in it...all rolled up together. :-)

Amazing photography, very fair pricing, couldn't recommend more
With our covid-era micro-wedding, we struggled to find a photographer who could accommodate us. So many photographers had 6 hour minimums, which I understand, but we just didn't have 6 hours of wedding to photograph. Sara has a micro-wedding package that was perfect for us-- and probably for a lot of other couples in our situation. She was really friendly, responsive, and the photographs were beautiful. My favorite thing was she noticed an opportunity for a photo we never would have imagined-- in the choir loft of the church, with the afternoon sun streaming in, she posed us in silhouette with the gorgeous stained glass window behind us. Those were artistic and beautiful photographs I'll treasure forever. I couldn't recommend her more. Her rates were *amazing* and the quality of the finished photos are keepsake album-worthy. So happy we found Roneyfield for our big day.

Such a delight!
Sara photographed our wedding on 08/15/20 at the River View and Occoquan and she was AWESOME! So much fun to work with and such a great sense of humor. One wedding guest, a good friend of ours, is really big into photography so he and Sara teamed up to get some really beautiful and unique shots. In fact, the photoshoot with just me and my new husband was the only time during our wedding day where it really felt like it was actually about the two of us and it was really special ❤️ Oh and when fire trucks showed up at our venue she didn’t hesitate to ask them if we could take some photos in the truck 😂 It was awesome!!

I knew photography was important for my wedding day, but I was having serious sticker shock when I was looking at the cost of most photographers. When I stumbled upon Roneyfield Photography, I was a little apprehensive at first. Everything looked too good to be true! Her prices were EXCELLENT and her portfolio honestly was stunning.
When I met her over coffee to discuss potentially hiring her, we hit if off immediately. I felt very comfortable with her, and decided to hire her. I do NOT regret it at all. She arrived early and just exuded happiness in being at work taking picture of the wedding. She was very personable and kind (even my guests said so). She really have a lot of creative shots in mind and it was a blast to do portraits with her. I didn't feel awkward, even though usually do when my picture is being taken.
I didn't give her a shot list (i got really lazy), but she nailed EVERYTHING i could have asked for, and was SUPER accommodating when my mom went family portrait crazy.
The pictures are just beautiful, and I had them available to me within a week of the wedding. Not only that, but they are fully downloadable and fully mine.
I was so happy to find Roneyfield Photography. Sara really pulled me whole day together into beautiful memories.

I can't say enough good things about Sara and the quality of our wedding pictures. Not only was she able to capture every moment of our special day, but she provided us with amazing pictures in such a quick, turnaround time. I had our pictures back within days, and had so many beautiful pics to choose from! I highly recommend Sara to any bride in need of a wonderful photographer!! As many things as a bride has to worry about when it comes to planning a wedding, Sara and her professionalism was the least of my concerns! Can't wait to book her again for family pictures!!
