  Sara was professional and reasonably priced. She captured so many great moments for both the ceremony and reception. She didn’t miss a moment. It was an event family and friends will be taking about for a long time and we have these great pictures to look back on. Thank you.

  Amazing photography, very fair pricing, couldn't recommend more

  With our covid-era micro-wedding, we struggled to find a photographer who could accommodate us. So many photographers had 6 hour minimums, which I understand, but we just didn't have 6 hours of wedding to photograph. Sara has a micro-wedding package that was perfect for us-- and probably for a lot of other couples in our situation. She was really friendly, responsive, and the photographs were beautiful. My favorite thing was she noticed an opportunity for a photo we never would have imagined-- in the choir loft of the church, with the afternoon sun streaming in, she posed us in silhouette with the gorgeous stained glass window behind us. Those were artistic and beautiful photographs I'll treasure forever. I couldn't recommend her more. Her rates were *amazing* and the quality of the finished photos are keepsake album-worthy. So happy we found Roneyfield for our big day.

  Such a delight!

  Sara photographed our wedding on 08/15/20 at the River View and Occoquan and she was AWESOME! So much fun to work with and such a great sense of humor. One wedding guest, a good friend of ours, is really big into photography so he and Sara teamed up to get some really beautiful and unique shots. In fact, the photoshoot with just me and my new husband was the only time during our wedding day where it really felt like it was actually about the two of us and it was really special ❤️ Oh and when fire trucks showed up at our venue she didn’t hesitate to ask them if we could take some photos in the truck 😂 It was awesome!!

  I knew photography was important for my wedding day, but I was having serious sticker shock when I was looking at the cost of most photographers. When I stumbled upon Roneyfield Photography, I was a little apprehensive at first. Everything looked too good to be true! Her prices were EXCELLENT and her portfolio honestly was stunning.
  
  When I met her over coffee to discuss potentially hiring her, we hit if off immediately. I felt very comfortable with her, and decided to hire her. I do NOT regret it at all. She arrived early and just exuded happiness in being at work taking picture of the wedding. She was very personable and kind (even my guests said so). She really have a lot of creative shots in mind and it was a blast to do portraits with her. I didn't feel awkward, even though usually do when my picture is being taken.
  
  I didn't give her a shot list (i got really lazy), but she nailed EVERYTHING i could have asked for, and was SUPER accommodating when my mom went family portrait crazy.
  
  The pictures are just beautiful, and I had them available to me within a week of the wedding. Not only that, but they are fully downloadable and fully mine.
  
  I was so happy to find Roneyfield Photography. Sara really pulled me whole day together into beautiful memories.

  We booked Sara as the photographer for our wedding and she did an amazing job! Great photos, extremely professional, showed up early to set everything up, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is a rare find - great talent at an affordable price.

  Sara Roney was our wedding photographer for daughter on 10-17-2015. Simply stated, from arrival at our home, to the church and concluding at the reception, the word we use to describe her is spectacular. The photos came out beautiful and certainly will use and recommend her to others.

  I had engagement photos done by Sara and she just shot our Wedding on Oct, 10th! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her work, I love all of my pictures and she was a joy to work with. Her turn around time was excellent, I was expecting a couple week wait but I had them back within a week! Needless to say, I was ecstatic :) My only problem is that she shot so many wonderful pictures I have no idea which ones I should print and hang on my wall! If you have to have a problem with a photographer, let it be a problem like mine and book Sara with Roneyfield to shoot your event!

  I had to plan my daughters wedding from Hattiesburg, Ms . Her and her husband are full time in the Navy . So she had no time to help me find anything but the venue . I am a certified wedding consultant so I was very familiar with the problem we could run into trying to plan a wedding in such a short time and on a Sunday ! I must have googled 20 or more photographers but it was something about her work I loved and even her voice over the phone , I new she was the one that could give my daughter what she was looking for to capture her big day . I only have one daughter and I needed someone who could work good under pressure and with young people but capture every moment and Roney Field Photography did just that . we where amazed at the pictures that where captured and my granddaughters walking in the woods and the double photo she captured with one looking in the water was priceless . Thanks so much for capturing a true Southern Bells dream with all the lace gloves, pearls , umbrellas and the guys bowing and giving the girls their flowers was great ! You captured every detail to have for a life time and memories to have to pass on for generations to come !!

  Sara is amazing! We had a large wedding party (our family) that was all over the place...we were hot and sweaty and the kids wouldn't be still so, no one was really in the mood for pics but, she stayed cool and was so patient especially with the kids.
  
  Her spirit was easy going and carefree...she brought such a peace with her and an eye for details both small and large. I was blown away by every pic and I want to have another event just so we can invite her. She is professional, artistic and aims to please.

  I spent hours and hours searching the internet for an affordable, experienced wedding photographer that could accommodate our tight grad student budget. Sara worked very hard to create a package that we could afford, and she even gave us a military discount to help us come in under budget! Finding Sara at Roneyfield Photography was such a blessing, and I couldn't be happier with the photos she captured on our wedding day. When my husband and I watched a slideshow of our wedding photos after returning from our honeymoon, we both cried because she perfectly captured all of the joy, love, and beauty of our special day for us. Then our tears of joy turned to tears of laughter as we viewed the crazy, funny photo booth pics she got that we also LOVED! Communicating with her was always quick and easy, and she did a great job of capturing very special moments without a lot of guidance (Pro Tip: Take the time to make a wedding photo shot list to share with her -- she got amazing pictures with very little direction, but I wish I'd taken advantage of her skills to get even more amazing photos of our jewelry, venue, etc.!). I was initially concerned about not having a second shooter, but somehow Sara captured beautiful images of almost everybody at our event as a single shooter! When all is said and done, it was also amazing to have access to the online gallery of photos after the wedding, which makes it SUPER easy to share with friends and family, upload them to social media, and make photo gifts. She even includes black and white images, which is awesome! Ultimately, I'd recommend Sara to absolutely ANYBODY looking for a reasonably priced, super skilled, and super friendly wedding photographer!

  Sara is really sweet and nice. I really wanted to say that everything was perfect but I was just left overall disappointed. As the bride I only have about 3 shots of myself (bridal portrait). I had a long train and my dress was not at all captured to its potential in the photos. The coloring of my photos was messed up it took more than a month to fix and I was never notified when it finally was fixed. There are some nice shots but I just feel that it could have been better. I will say that I was happy she pulled us aside at the end to get a few more shots of just us at the end. I had a few guests complain to me about the content of what was photographed (certain family members felt left out, not many family shots, etc). This is a day you never want to forget so it should be documented as best as possible! I'll have to get bridal portraits myself another time.

  So I’ll start with the fact that our engagement photos were pretty good. My biggest issue with the company was that she was inconsistent and really hard to keep in contact with. I feel like it should have been a red flag when we initially met and she brought her personal life with her to the meeting. Once we put our deposit down and got the ball rolling it was honestly let down after let down. I am a persistent person so i expect the same in return especially from a professional. Thank goodness i decided to pull the plug before it got to close to the wedding. I don’t have anything horrible to say about sara because overall she was really a sweet person. I am just disappointed in how unreliable she was when it came to getting things done and responding to us.
