Fantastic from start to finish!
From the moment we set foot on Mission Inn property, I had a feeling this would be our wedding venue. I wanted something close to “home” (now, technically where I grew up), that had the old Florida lakeside feel. Marina Del Rey was the answer I was looking for! Bri painted a lovely picture of what the wedding day would look like so we had an idea of how things would be set up and showed us pictures of other weddings at this location. She was even kind enough to accommodate my family and ourselves to tour again during our short trip home before securing the venue. My catering manager made the entire process smooth and never hesitated to answer any of my questions, no matter how silly I thought they were. Kelsey took over for us when our previous catering manager was no longer with Mission Inn only several weeks before the wedding. She made the scary thought of having planned my whole day with someone else disappear immediately. She clearly had gone over everything and eased my mind and worries right away! For the rehearsal and then the wedding day she was right there checking on us and made sure that things were executed in a timely fashion and worked so well alongside my day of coordinator. From the moment we scheduled our tour of Mission Inn we felt like family! We first met Bri who was unbelievably amazing and assisted us with selecting the best wedding option for our budget and our style. She truly listened to what we wanted as a couple and never tried to up sell something. Mission Inn property is like out of a dream! Every wedding location was breathtaking including the waterfall on the main resort property! Mission Inn made it incredibly easy with the ceremony, reception, rehearsal and resort accommodations for our guests. Jessica M. was our wedding coordinator and if someone could be called perfect it would be Jessica M. She went above and beyond answering all of our crazy questions, walking us through the process when we met, assisting with every decision and decorating and making our reception location beautiful. She was there for every decision and assisted in more ways than we could have ever imagined. Jessica M. made our wedding perfect and take place without any problems. I could not have gotten through the wedding planning process without the help of Jessica M. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding than the one we got with Mission Inn, Bri and Jessica M.! We got married at the Marina Del Rey and it is a beautiful location with the water backdrop. My entire staff LOVES working at Mission Inn! Every one of their spaces is so beautiful whether you are looking for rustic marina style, ballroom, elegant or somewhere in between! You will also fall in love with their staff. My favorite part of mission inn is that you can make your wedding day into a wedding weekend with your friends and family with all the activities they have on property since they are a resort!
