Located near Rollins College in beautiful Winter Park, FL, as well as a location in Maitland, FL, they also have three offices and a full-time staff to communicate with, answer questions, schedule appointments, etc. Their professional stylists and makeup artists are licensed and trained to create looks that complement all skin types and hair textures. Owners, Kari Larsen and Gina Schmidt have been servicing brides in Central Florida, as well as destination couples outside of FL and the US, for over 25 years and have trained their team to do the same! Because of this, they are always on top of the trends and use only the best products; Products to create hairstyles and makeup looks that hold up to the humidity and heat with elegance, sophistication, and class!

Kari is an Award Winning Makeup Artist and Hairstylist for Weddings and special events since 1994! With over 25 year of experience, Kari knows the art of Bridal Beauty and has helped several hundred brides over the years, including Disney's Magic Kingdom and WDW Fairytale Weddings.
Kari, along with business partner and Award Winning Makeup Artist, Gina Schmidt, have hand selected a dynamite Team of Makeup Artists and Hairstylists that have extensive experience to represent their 5 Star Award Winning company.
Kari's experience with makeup application and hairstyling is diverse in ethnicities, from Caucasion, African American, Indian, Middle Eastern, European, to Asian skin tones and hair types alike. And, what she really loves to do is help every woman feel her most beautiful no matter her skin color, skin condition, hair length or texture, and no matter her size!
Throughout the years Kari has helped dozens of Makeup Artists and Hairstylists learn the art of "Bridal Beauty" through hands on education and hands on experience. Leading and guiding About Face Design Team is her passion. Since 1994 she has been a leader in the Wedding Industry winning numerous awards for outstanding performance by other industry leaders and by clients as well.

Co-owner, Gina Schmidt, is an Award Winning Makeup Artist with over 25 years of making women look and feel their most beautiful. Gina brings a passion to everything she does. She not only makes every stroke of the brush count, she does it with enthusiasm and great joy!
Gina's interest in "all things GLAM," began when she was just a litte girl in Canada. When the doorbell rang and Avon called, Gina couldn't wait to be part of the action. When she was older she completed her Makeup Artist education in Canada and then went on to become a Licensed Facial Specialist in Florida.
In 2005 Gina partnered with founder, Kari Larsen. She brought her unique skills and high level of excellence to the Team. Gina has help the Team achieve 5 Star status and has helped make About Face Design Team an Award Winning company.
Gina is an excellent teacher and has the patience of a saint. What Gina loves most is to put a smile on your face. She is one of the most beloved leaders and is always ready to help in any way she can! Gina is very diverse with her makeup skills and has experience with people of color and all of the different ethnicities.
