Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers a variety of spaces in a gorgeous and serene setting with year-round beauty in our more than 40 acres of gardens. Exquisite facilities and superb food provided by the Garden’s exclusive in-house caterer, Meriwether Godsey, make this a unique setting for your dream wedding.
The Bloemendaal House, with views of Lakeside Lake, is an ideal facility for rehearsal dinners and a favored location for wedding receptions. The House is embellished with period antiques and furnishings reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts Era. The first-floor includes formal rooms with fireplaces and cozy side rooms. In addition, there are covered verandas, extensive brick patios and a 30x60ft party tent so your guests can enjoy a night under the stars.
The "Gateway to the Garden", the classic, neo-Georgia style Robins Visitors Center provides dramatic views of our Conservatory. The formal Robins Room, with elegant chandeliers and tall French doors, is the perfect setting for guests to dine before moving into the more casual Garden Cafe to dance the night away. Guests can enjoy access to three terraces all with seating and two of which have stunning views of the Central Garden.
Set in the Asian Valley, the Robins Tea House is an oasis of tranquility and beauty. With its panoramic views of nature’s year-round splendor, the Tea House is the perfect setting for intimate evenings in the Garden.

Beautiful Fall Wedding
The Gardens are a sentimental spot for us, as we had many of our first dates here. No matter what season your wedding is in, SOMETHING in the Gardens is blooming. They have three great locations within to choose from, that suit multiple sizes, styles, and budgets of weddings. We chose the Tea House/Flagler Garden combo, and I couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out! There were attendants on-site to help guests navigate from the ceremony to reception (walking distance), and coordination between my vendors and the Garden staff seemed flawless. The staff communicated promptly via e-mail and were very accommodating. Note that you MUST use their caterer for the reception dinner - I found this to be a relief, as it meant I didn't have to review and choose my own. And all of my guests complimented the food! Another stipulation is that there can be no sound amplification during the ceremony (since the other 2 wedding spots might be used during that time) - we hired a 3 piece "orchestra" of harp, cello, and violin, and it was absolutely gorgeous. We worked with Lindsay (who has since moved to another position), Jaclyn, and Michele, and they were all super helpful throughout the whole process.Sent on 11/18/2019

Lewis Ginter was the best decision we made
Flawless would be the venue setting word I would use. The setting and garden was stunning. The event team is great although there were about 2-3 coordinators that left during our planning period (about 1 year), but the replacements were always on the ball and quick to learn our contract and wedding details. There is an important division between catering and the wedding venue coordinators. Educate yourself on the difference so you know who to ask the right questions to (any dining tables, chairs, cutlery, napkins through catering but chairs for ceremony are through venue coordinators, including extra chairs for musicians). READ through the contract to make sure you are OK with their guidelines. They are strict, no outside alcohol, and they mean it. My husband and I agreed with their terms and were careful to follow them and we had no issues. The staff was super helpful and answered our questions quickly. The day of went very well and the photos of the venue are stunning. I highly recommend, but make sure you read the contract and are in compliance with their terms.Sent on 01/08/2020
