Nestled on 13.6 acres of exquisitely landscaped gardens and grounds, Boxwood Villa (circa 1891) is a hidden gem for rehearsal dinners, elopements, weddings (up to 150), photo shoots and weekend accommodation for couples invited to a Virginia countryside wedding. Named for its stunningly large boxwood bushes encircling the historic manor, this property was lovingly and thoughtfully renovated and re-landscaped by Leslie & Dan Gregg, Founders of The Market at Grelen and Grelen Nursery, respectively. With their keen sense of design, they managed to breath new life into the Boxwood Villa property by combining contemporary comfort, an eye for preservation and plenty of bountiful gardens. It is additionally available for general lodging (5 bedrooms, sleeps 10), dinner parties, reunions, corporate events, wholistic and wellness retreats, and bachelorette weekend gatherings.

Tess and Emmie from The Market At Grelen were absolutely incredible. My daughter and I fell in love with the Boxwood Villa venue from out first visit. The home itself is beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for my daughters special day. We loved everything about working with The Grelen and staying at the Boxwood Villa. They literally greeted us with open arms and were there through the entire process to answer ANY and ALL questions. There response time was immediate. I even called Emmie two days before the rehearsal dinner in a panic that I had not ordered my daughter a bouquet for her rehearsal, and Emmie put one together with all the gorgeous seasonal flowers from the Grelen~!
I can not express my gratitude to both Tess and Emmie for their warmth and support~! The Boxwood Villa will be a place that our family will be able to return to every year on the anniversary of the wedding~!
