I've had the pleasure of sitting in Dhalia's chair several times as a bridesmaid, so when I got engaged, she was the very first vendor I booked after setting our wedding date. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her!

Her makeup style is the perfect balance of natural and polished, and it truly lasts all day (and night!) through all the tears, dancing, and celebrating. On my wedding day, she made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself, and her calm, positive energy was exactly what every bride needs on such a busy morning. She even jumped in on a fun TikTok with us, which made the morning even more memorable!

Chantel joined as our second artist, and together they made the perfect team. Every single bridesmaid and family member loved their makeup, and everyone looked and felt so beautiful. Having several of my bridesmaids who were also past Dhalia brides made the morning even more meaningful. It was so special knowing we had all shared that experience with her, and it was such a full-circle moment to have her be part of so many of our weddings.

The funny part is I walked in with almost no clear vision—I basically gave Brittany a "no vision" vision. Somehow, she took my scattered thoughts, looked through my inspiration photos, considered my skin tone and features, and created makeup that was absolutely perfect for every event. It felt elevated, timeless, and most importantly, it still felt like *me*.

Not only is Brittany incredibly talented, but she and her team are true professionals. They were organized, calming, kind, and made the entire experience completely stress-free. On a weekend where emotions are high and timelines are tight, having vendors you can fully trust is priceless. I never once worried about how I would look because I knew I was in the best hands.

Dhalia Edwards Makeup came highly recommended by my planner, Kara Copley. What really sold me though? They weren't a one size fits all group. They had pictures of all different, beautiful women on their social media. I wanted all of my bridesmaids to feel beautiful on my big day, not just me. DEM is all inclusive for every skin tone, every face shape. That was the most important. The second most important was communication. They were quick to respond back, and when I needed to move my trial, they were flexible. My makeup artist,
Sam, was absolutely amazing. Not only is she an amazing MUA, she is an amazing woman. I had the chance to sit in her chair twice (once for trial, once for big day), she made me feel comfortable and like I had known her for decades. At the big day, I had asked for a small change from the trial and Sam delivered. I had never felt so beautiful in my life. I've been in 8 weddings and that was the only one I LOVED my lashes. But it wasn't only me, my other bridesmaids as well. Everyone's make up turned out so beautiful and timeless. Our officiant even got her makeup done by the DEM team. She said that she's never been surrounded by so many hype women. If I had to redo my wedding over again, I would be contacting Dhalia Edwards Makeup first.

Dhalia and Brittany were amazing!!! Dhalia did my makeup trial and was very professional, calm, and confident which made me feel great about the process! I did the trial for my bridal shower and everyone was highly complimentary! On wedding day, Dhalia and Birttany did makeup on my bridal party and MOB/MIL. Everyone looked fabulous!! Though it is very rare I get it done, I find having my makeup done to be incredibly relaxing and as a socially-anxious bride, I knew that the time getting my hair and makeup done on my wedding day would be one of my few times of calm, so it was important that I had a makeup artist that helped with that. I also knew I wanted more of a natural-looking makeup look – still look like myself, just enhanced a little to match the importance of the day. I followed a couple different makeup artists on Instagram to try and narrow down to the look and vibe that I was looking for and Dhalia and her team immediately stood out. I scheduled a trial for myself and my mom for one of the weekends we were going to be down in Virginia Beach (we live in northern Virginia) just to make sure her Instagram matched reality before booking. My mom and I both loved the trial – Dhalia was incredibly sweet, caring, and of course, talented. We booked her for my wedding date on the spot. I gave my bridesmaids the option of getting their hair and/or makeup done. After seeing pictures from my trial with Dhalia, all four decided they wanted their makeup done as well. My mom and I also decided to have Dhalia do our makeup for the day before as we had a bridal luncheon, the rehearsal, and a welcome party. My mom and I were able to have a relaxing (early!) morning with Dhalia and our makeup lasted throughout the close to 16-hour day of festivities. The next day (wedding day), Dhalia and her team arrived early with plenty of time to set up their stations and actually completed all six (my mom, four bridesmaids, and myself) of our makeup earlier than scheduled which allowed some time for us to relax before the pictures started. Everyone loved their makeup, received countless complements on it, and it lasted all day. Working with Dhalia was such a great and pleasant experience from first communication to wedding day and I hope I have many more events in the future I can use her for when I (hopefully!) move to Virginia Beach!
