Dhalia and Brittany were amazing!!! Dhalia did my makeup trial and was very professional, calm, and confident which made me feel great about the process! I did the trial for my bridal shower and everyone was highly complimentary! On wedding day, Dhalia and Birttany did makeup on my bridal party and MOB/MIL. Everyone looked fabulous!! Can't Recommend Dhalia and Her Team Enough!
Though it is very rare I get it done, I find having my makeup done to be incredibly relaxing and as a socially-anxious bride, I knew that the time getting my hair and makeup done on my wedding day would be one of my few times of calm, so it was important that I had a makeup artist that helped with that. I also knew I wanted more of a natural-looking makeup look – still look like myself, just enhanced a little to match the importance of the day. I followed a couple different makeup artists on Instagram to try and narrow down to the look and vibe that I was looking for and Dhalia and her team immediately stood out. I scheduled a trial for myself and my mom for one of the weekends we were going to be down in Virginia Beach (we live in northern Virginia) just to make sure her Instagram matched reality before booking. My mom and I both loved the trial – Dhalia was incredibly sweet, caring, and of course, talented. We booked her for my wedding date on the spot. I gave my bridesmaids the option of getting their hair and/or makeup done. After seeing pictures from my trial with Dhalia, all four decided they wanted their makeup done as well. My mom and I also decided to have Dhalia do our makeup for the day before as we had a bridal luncheon, the rehearsal, and a welcome party. My mom and I were able to have a relaxing (early!) morning with Dhalia and our makeup lasted throughout the close to 16-hour day of festivities. The next day (wedding day), Dhalia and her team arrived early with plenty of time to set up their stations and actually completed all six (my mom, four bridesmaids, and myself) of our makeup earlier than scheduled which allowed some time for us to relax before the pictures started. Everyone loved their makeup, received countless complements on it, and it lasted all day. Working with Dhalia was such a great and pleasant experience from first communication to wedding day and I hope I have many more events in the future I can use her for when I (hopefully!) move to Virginia Beach!

Dhalia was amazing to work with from initial inquiry through wedding day. She makes sure the final look matches your vision and is careful to keep application light for those who are not everyday makeup wearers. I got exactly what I was looking for and my makeup stayed put all night. Dhalia and Deja also did a great job with my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law. Dhalia is also extremely responsive and scheduling my trial was a breeze. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for professional makeup!

Spring wedding, amazing work!
I used Sedona for my bridal makeup and did my trial on my bridal shower day which was such an amazing idea of Sedona's! I had my and my two sister's makeup done for the shower to make the event fun but also give them a chance to work with Sedona before the wedding day too. I don't wear a lot of makeup day to day so my biggest wish was a glamorous but natural look that still allowed me to feel like myself on my day - and they did a phenomenal job! I would 100% work with every member of this team again, and can't wait until I get a chance to!

I can’t begin to say enough about Dhalia and how amazing she is. From start to finish she was quick to respond and professional for every interaction. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I couldn’t believe it.
On the day of my wedding, she was ready for me and my mom having taken notes from my trial. She did my full makeup and my mother’s eyes. Everything turned out perfect. She was even flexible with my timeline changes and where I wanted to get my makeup done. I highly doubt there is anyone better than Dhalia for any makeup needs in the area.

Perfect look on my perfect day
Chantel of Dhalia Edwards did my make-up for my wedding day. I looked perfect! I had the opportunity to use Chantel for my engagement pictures initially and knew I would return to Dhalia Edwards and Chantel for my wedding makeup. It was the right choice. First, let me say they are reasonably priced which is a huge plus, but they are also so communicative. I reached out a few times with questions and promptly heard back. Most importantly, on my wedding day, I showed Chantel a picture and she didn't try to recreate it, she asked what I liked about it and we worked for that look, which was the smoky eye. I felt beautiful and I couldn't have done it without Dhalia Edwards and Chantel.

We booked DEM for my wedding day. Dhalia did a FANTASTIC job! She did make up for 6 women in total and we all looked beautiful. Dhalia is extremely professional, communicative, and really tailors your make up to emphasize your natural features. We had a spectrum from natural makeup to heavy makeup requests. She can do it all and the looks lasted all night. I felt extremely beautiful and special at my wedding thanks to Dhalia. Dhalia is truly so talented - she listens to her clients visions and executes perfectly. For my wedding day I felt glowy and flawless but also light and like myself. Wonderful wedding makeup experience!
Working with Dhalia for our wedding makeup artist was a wonderful experience! All communication and coordination leading up to the event was smooth and easy. I had my makeup trial about a month before our wedding, and Dhalia asked what kind of look I was going for. She asked questions and was receptive to any thoughts and feedback. I ended up loving my trial makeup so much that I decided to book Dhalia for my welcome party makeup the night before our wedding as well!
Before working with Dhalia, I'd only had my makeup professionally done once, and the fake eyelashes were uncomfortable and bothered me throughout the day. I explained this and Dhalia attached them a bit differently and I ended up not noticing them at all - it was a completely different experience.
Dhalia and Deja were our two artists for the wedding day. My bridesmaids, mom, flower girls, and myself all looked stunning! Everyone loved their makeup and it held up well throughout the long day.
I would highly recommend Dhalia and her team and am already planning to book her for a future wedding in town!

Dhalia was fantastic to work with! From the first inquiry I sent, she was quick to respond to all questions and concerns throughout the process. She was very professional on the day of and had no problem accommodating my large bridal party (10 people total) with the help of an additional MUA. She truly made me look and feel like a beautiful bride and knew exactly how to work with my skin type to ensure my makeup stayed all night. And it did! Truly an amazing experience.
As the bride, I put off booking my hair and makeup until the last minute. I was pretty nervous about it especially knowing I had giving myself very little time to find someone amazing. Using this company, and meeting the various women that make it so beautiful, was one of the best decisions I made regarding wedding planning. They made it so easy, and the moment I walked into the studio I knew I was in good hands. The girl chat, and positive vibes, and skill that they brought to my wedding was irreplaceable. They kept me calm and feeling like the most beautiful version of myself. My bridesmaids and I got our makeup done for my wedding with Dhalia and Chantel from Dhalia Edwards Makeup and they did not disappoint. Getting makeup professionally done can be nerve wracking because some artists might do your makeup in a way that doesn't feel like you. And as a bride, you want your makeup to be perfect because all eyes are on you and you have photos and it's stressful trying to find a makeup artist who you think can deliver your vision. I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that Dhalia made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. I showed her pictures of my vision and she delivered. We did a trial and I ended up doing something different than the trial day of and she was completely flexible. Dhalia and Chantel brought such great energy with them and made my bridal party and I feel so comfortable AND beautiful. They even stayed after a little bit to do touchups. Dhalia and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Dhalia did my make up for my engagement pictures, bridal make up, and 2 other members of my bridal party. For my wedding party, we also had MeLissa who did 2 members of the wedding party as well. Everyone was pleased with their make up and was raving about how their experience with Dhalia and her team. They showed up ready to go, professional and positive attitudes. I can't recommend them enough! And a huge plus everyone's make up stayed put for the 10+ hours of wear! Looked just as good at the end of the night as the time they first applied.

When I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding, I was very picky. Dhalia knocked it out of the park! She let me do not one, but two trials because I am so indecisive. Dahlia and her team were responsive from day 1. She set me up with Melissa who got me in within days for my bridal trial. She asked lots of questions to understand what I was looking for and took notes so we could easily replicate the look the day of the wedding. Melissa also answered questions I had leading up to the wedding. She came to the venue and was flexible throughout the day with myself and all of my bridesmaids running around finishing things up. The makeup was beautiful and lasted as long as could be expected with an 85 degree day with tons of humidity. Many thanks to Melissa and Dahlia!

I highly recommend booking Dhalia Edwards Makeup for any event. I reached out to Dhalia about 10 months before my wedding and she was excellent to work with - she was very communicative, responding nearly immediately to my emails and answering all of my questions clearly. Her pricing is clear and straight forward and she was very flexible and accommodating about adding additional girls for makeup leading up to the event.
Elizabeth from Dhalia's team actually did my makeup and did an exceptional job. She was meticulous and really heard and understood my requests. On the day of the wedding, I asked her to change one minor detail from what we did in the bridal trial (use a blush that was a little more pink, rather than warm) and the result was exactly what I was looking for. I look at our wedding photos and truly have never felt so beautiful as that day!

I hired Dhalia for my May 2024 wedding and it was the best decision! I found her company through a friend of a friend, and would recommend her services to anyone and everyone! I initially hired her for my engagement photos last year, but I then immediately hired her for my wedding. Dhalia and her assistant were super friendly, professional, on time, and did an amazing job on everyone. Even the other vendors I hired said she was the best! My biggest concern with wedding makeup was that I would look cakey, especially since my wedding was outdoors. Dhalia listened to my concerns, applied the most beautiful makeup, and there was not a cakey-crease in sight all night! Me (the bride), my 6 bridesmaids, and my mom (60 yrs old) all looked flawless! Need multiple makeup artists in multiple locations for your big day, early in the morning? Dhalia Edwards Makeup made my complicated wedding prep plans so easy and my wedding party raved about their makeup, punctuality, and professionalism. My wedding party was partly in VB and partly in Chesapeake, and I had a 10:30am ceremony time. Dhalia and Sedona helped me and my wedding party get ready (1 in Chesapeake, 1 in VB), and showed up at 3:30am to make it happen. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting professional makeup. I even had to reschedule my engagement photos due to rain, and DEM worked with me to find availability in their team last minute. They're the best!!

I honestly don't know what I would have done without Dhalia! We had to change our plans for a makeup artist VERY last minute (like 10 days before the wedding) and Dhalia swooped in like the hero she is and saved the day! Our makeup was gorgeous! Dahlia was kind, professional and extremely talented. As the bride, I was blown away with the experience and how I looked. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous and we were all so happy! You definitely should book with her if you get the chance.

I cannot say enough good things about MeLissa and Brittany. Not only was my makeup and my bridesmaid’s and mom’s makeup STUNNING, but they were so fun to be with all morning. They fit right in with me and my girls and I cannot thank them enough for helping me feel the most beautiful I ever have. They were professional, timely, and responsive when I had questions. Highly Recommend Sedona!
I was actually a bridesmaid in a wedding that used Sedona/Dhalia Edwards Makeup, and I knew I had to use them at my wedding! Sedona was the absolute BEST makeup artist! Not only did she make me feel so comfortable, she also is incredible and made me feel so stunning at my trial and on my wedding day. She is so kind, funny, and wonderful to work with. I could not recommend her or the Dhalia Edwards Makeup group any more - they are amazing!

Elizabeth & Melissa did amazing work on my bridal party of 8! They executed exactly what everyone wanted and made all of our dreams come true! They worked quickly but the entire experience felt relaxing. Their masterpieces lasted through 10+ intense hours of crying and partying and made for beautiful pictures. This is my 3rd time working with Dhalia and her amazing team and they will continue to be the go-to for glam services!

We asked Dhalia Edwards Makeup to do makeup for our wedding and they were fantastic! I changed what I wanted last minute and MeLissa did above and beyond! They had multiple girls to do and were very organized and got everyone done on time.

Dhalia Edwards Makeup, and specifically MeLissa, were wonderful to work with. They were professional, efficient, and made all of us (myself, 8 bridesmaids, and 3 moms) look our best. MeLissa has such a calming personality so it's easy to feel at ease in her chair. She listened carefully to exactly what I wanted at the trial, and then perfectly executed my makeup look for my wedding day. My makeup lasted all night and I've never felt more beautiful. She also was very careful to keep us on schedule all morning, and I'm grateful for that as well. All my bridesmaids looked stunning. Cannot recommend Dhalia Edwards Makeup highly enough!

MeLissa was amazing! She went above and beyond and was so very personal! From my 2 wedding trials to telling me what make up to purchase for personal use - to the wedding day! It was beyond amazing of an experience. I will be booking for all other events.

The happiest bride because of this team!
Working with Dhalia and her team was been absolutely amazing!! Melissa knew exactly what to do to make each of my girls feel so beautiful! She is extremely personable which made the experience so much better— it’s like hanging out with a girl friend! Looking back in pictures I am in awe of how beautiful she made me feel and look. Dhalia Edwards make up and make up artists Clarissa and Sameerah were absolutely amazing on my wedding day! They not only made me feel so special but Clarissa gave me the bridal look of my dreams! So thankful for Ariel, she is truly the best at what she does and an amazing human.
I am so thankful to have had Ariel do my engagement session as well as my wedding day make up! Ariel was recommended to me by two individuals and I am so lucky she was available and willing to make time and travel for my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful in my life, and can say the same for my bridesmaids who Ariel do their makeup. I had an incredibly red face from sunburn on the big day and she worked her magic and my skin looked flawless. Not to mention we changed the look a bit the day of and she was so okay with that and it turned out beautiful. I cannot thank her enough and had the most compliments!

Wedding makeup dream team!
Dhalia, Melissa and Chantel were a dream team for all my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law. They did a great job on all of our makeup and it stayed on through the whole time. They were fun and also help keep you calm when you are getting your makeup done and it’s down pouring before your outdoor wedding. Would hands down recommend them for your wedding or special event! I also got my makeup done the day before for my rehearsal dinner which was so worth it! Thank you ladies for making us all look gorgeous!!!

The DEM Team is 10/10!
Elizabeth did an amazing job with my wedding day makeup. I loved my trial but wanted to tweak a couple things before my wedding and she was so great about communicating and helping me figure out exactly the look I was going for. My makeup on my wedding day was perfect. It was natural looking but elevated and special. Her energy was calm and kind too. I highly recommend Elizabeth! She is so talented!

Melissa helped make my Wedding day absolutely perfect. I hate wearing makeup and she made me feel stunning! She did my Bridesmaids makeup as well and they all looked perfect. 10/10 recommend Melissa! I also had some work conflicts with my trial run and she was very flexible with rescheduling.

Amazing Wedding Day Makeup
MeLissa was my MUA from Dhalia Edwards and we had an amazing experience! I loved getting to chat and know her during the trial run turns out we had some common acquaintances! She asked me what I wanted, how my skin behaves and at each step of the makeup process, asked how I felt and if I liked what she was doing. I felt like she was doing her utmost to make sure my makeup was the way I envisioned for the big day! Fast forward to wedding morning and MeLissa and her associate did a phenomenal job! Everyone looked radiantly beautiful and I personally could not have been happier about how the makeup turned out. I would absolutely recommend the Dhalia Edwards team, they are great!!
