We were fortunate enough to receive a recommendation from our wedding venue, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, for an incredibly talented florist team, Palette of Petals, who exceeded our every expectation! We mostly interacted with Shannon from Palette of Petals, and what struck us most about Shannon was her ability to capture, transform and bring to life the ideas we had for the vision of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception without missing a beat. Her attention to detail and artistic eye brought out the smallest, most tender moments that may have otherwise been overlooked. I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquets, and even the boutonnieres!
Shannon and her team are not only masters in creation, but they are also true professionals. They were also true champions to set up (and move from one location to another in between events) many high caliber floral designs through an outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia! Shannon provided many different ideas and suggestions to make sure we could bring our vision to life in the best and most efficient way possible while staying within budget. She asked an abundance of great questions throughout the process to get a feel for what were our absolute “must haves” and spent a long time working with us to perfect our “vision board” so she could bring it to life.

My (now) husband and I hired Palette of Petals to be the florist for our wedding at the Cavalier Hotel in March 2024. From the second I looked them up on Instagram, I KNEW they would be the perfect fit for us. Shannon and her team are incredible at what they do. In the months leading up to our wedding, they worked with us to match our vision through the creation of our very own Pinterest board. They were highly communicative throughout the whole process. I hired PoP for my wedding and was absolutely over-the-moon thrilled with them. I'm not very creative, and struggled a lot trying to articulate my vision for our wedding. I knew what I wanted in my head but had no idea how that would translate into real life. After only one meeting with Shannon, she already had turned my vision into a concrete reality. I gave her full reign to do whatever she thought looked best, and wow did she deliver. Everything came out even more beautiful than I imagined in my wildest dreams. PoP is also extremely easy to work with, efficient, professional, and easy to contact. After one meeting with PoP I knew the flowers and decor of my wedding was taken care of and I could RELAX. They're also super reasonable with their prices and are willing to work with each bride within their budget. I chose items from all three packages they provided me (from practical to luxurious) and every single item was still beautiful and well done.
