I had the utmost pleasure to work with Tina and the Virginia Floral Design team for my June 2024 wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Flowers were one of the most important pieces for me so choosing the right florist was imperative. I had chatted with a few other companies before reaching out to Tina and you can immediately tell the difference in her passion for her business. She will tirelessly work on a quote for you until you are 100% satisfied before you even pay a deposit. She just really wants to make sure she embodies your vision and you are happy before agreeing on any contracts. Then when you see her work, it speaks for itself. She uses intricate details and unique flowers to make sure your day feels truly one-of-a-kind and not just another wedding. I never had to check in with her and make sure she was making my wedding a priority or we were on the same page. She was constantly doing things behind the scenes to make it special even months before the event and even arranged to have a local artist create custom vases which was above and beyond! Just give her your inspiration and ideas and then just trust her decision on everything from there--I promise she will not disappoint. Her generosity also is unmatched, never an up charge or over-priced item. Everything she is quotes is very reasonable. She enjoys this so much, I think she would give everything and her time away for free if she could!! Honestly, I don't know why anyone would choose another florist because Tina and the entire VFD team is so amazing. They have my highest recommendation!

Why I am glad I did
We decided to use different vases and make each centerpiece unique. She excels when you let her get creative and create works of art. She even found cute little pineapples to add to some pieces which were a huge hit! I will say if you have a VERY specific look in mind and want to just recreate that look, it might be hard because I think Tina is more artist than just florist and has a personal style just like a painter or sculptor. But if you’re a little more open to her creativity, she will create something amazing for you that will not look like anything from other Pinterest weddings! She knows all the ins and outs of flowers and did everything she could to make my day look stunning.

Tina was wonderful to work with. The venue was stunning and she made perfect choices with premium florals. Tina even went above and beyond to get my requested Lily of the Valley flowers here to honor my deceased mother. She is absolutely amazing. You can't go wrong with anything she does.

My husband and I were married in Nov. 2022 and we had the wonderful opportunity to work with Tina and Virginia Floral Design. Tina was absolutely wonderful to work with in the lead up to our event - flowers were perhaps one of the more intimidating planning pieces of my wedding, trying to strike the "look" and the budget. Tina was open and transparent with me, and often provided options so that I could best strike the balance. She was also very patient and professional, always! I really appreciated how involved she wanted to be with our day and our additional vendors, to create a seamless process. Everything from our bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, floral accents were amazing - but I was most blown away by the ground meadow (arch of flowers on ground for ceremony) and my bridal bouquet. Both were my statement pieces and she really just knocked it out of the park for us. I love my wedding photos that much more thanks to her stunning work. Tina is lovely to work with and truly creates beautiful, timeless, and memorable florals for your big day. Hire her!

I had a micro wedding so I wanted to make sure that whoever I chose would be able to add that special touch. Tina went above and beyond! My bouquet was perfect and was so beautiful. I got so many compliments! Tina was also extremely patient as I changed my mind and offered suggestions. Don’t look any further if you want beautiful florals for your wedding!

Wow. As a bride there are so many decisions and so many things ti keep track of and let me tell you, Tina was an absolute lifesaver in my whole wedding planning process. She always made time to sit down in person and chat and go over what the plan was. I really let her use her creativity only telling her what I did not want and she blew me away. Our rehearsal dinner was gorgeous, moody, matched the venue and was the perfect touch. The wedding was unreal. Truly so many comments from other vendors and guests on how beautiful she did with everything. She went above and beyond and I am so happy I let her do her thing because she is truly an artist and creator. Tina even helped with other decorative items outside of florals and I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. We gave her a budget and she worked with us to create a vision that fell in our spending goal. She repurposes flowers if possible which I love because why waste or limit gorgeous floral/greenery to just one moment!!

We were so lucky to have worked with Tina at Virginia Floral Design for our florals for our wedding in April 2022. She was very responsive and took my vision and made them 1,000 times better than I ever could have imagined. She was willing to work within our budget and made excellent suggestions to make our venue even more beautiful.
