Jill from Sunkissed Events was the absolute most amazing planner I could’ve asked for. She has a variety of packages to choose from but we went with “Day of Coordinator”. Even as the day of coordinator, she was available to answer any questions I had leading up to the wedding and at the 3 month out mark she became very involved in the process which definitely eased the inevitable stress of planning a wedding. I never for a second doubted she was on top of her game and when it was wedding weekend all I can say is WOW. This girl knows what she’s doing and she does it SO well! She was on top of everything and if anything went wrong that weekend, which I don’t think it did, I had no idea about it. She is so sweet and professional and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone over and over again! Thank you so much for making our wedding seamless and stress free! You are the best!!

Jill is truly amazing, I wish she could plan my entire life for me! We hired Jill as day-of coordinator for our October 9, 2021 wedding ceremony and reception and she went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect event. She listened to my vision and provided perfect vendor recommendations, she helped us understand our contracts, and she gave advice on the best course of action in any circumstance. The week of our wedding it was calling for 90% chance of rain and she quickly helped organize a backup rain plan - thankfully there ended up being no rain and we were able to adjust back to the normal plan! Lizzy was our onsite coordinator and Jill had done such a great job educating her on all our details, it felt like she had been there all along. I trust anyone that Jill trusts! Our family has now had 2 weddings and 1 birthday party planned by her and we will continue to recommend her to friends and family.

I cannot say enough great things about Jill! She was the planner for my cousin’s wedding and they highly recommended her to us because of their great experience and I am happy to share that I had the same great experience! We hired Jill as a day of coordinator so we booked all of our other vendors ourselves and came up with our own style/design ourselves. Jill let me know right off the bat that if I needed any help along the way that I could simply shoot her over an email and she stood by that! She always responded quickly and thoughtfully even though I know she was juggling several weddings. She really went above and beyond what I would imagine a typical day of coordinator would do! She was so supportive when I told her we wanted a backwards wedding (cocktail hour, dinner, sunset ceremony, reception) and she helped us execute it flawlessly - even when it rained buckets! Sadly, my dream wedding was to get married outside at sunset at the Williamsburg Winery but when we knew the rain was going to change our plans (and I’m talking flash flood sideways rain!!!) Jill stepped up and saved the day! She called my florist and made arrangements to really make our new indoor ceremony site at the winery pop! She got herself soaked while making sure I was covered under an umbrella during location transitions. She just totally rocked and I cannot say enough great things about her! She gave me my dream wedding and I got to enjoy every second of it thanks to her! 10/10 recommend!

I interviewed a handful of wedding planners in the VA Beach area when I started planning our wedding in the winter of 2019. We started planning our wedding way back in 2019, and had just picked out a venue when we realized we were in way over our heads. We called Jill after getting a recommendation from a friend, and we went with the partial wedding planning service that Sunkissed Events offers. It was HANDS DOWN THE BEST DECISION WE MADE IN PLANNING OUR WEDDING.

Jill knows this business inside and out. She knows the best vendors, the best locations, and she gets to know you in order to help you choose the best options FOR YOU. We had to cancel our original date and replan due to COVID-19. We thought that this was going to be totally hectic and crazy. It was a tough decision, but Jill had a new venue for us (our original one couldn't support our new date options) and had already coordinated with all of our original vendors within a few days of making the tough decision to move our wedding date. She was a total dream to work with the entire time.

On our actual wedding day, Jill made every vision and dream we had come true. It was the day of a lifetime because of Jill and her team. If something went wrong, we didn't even know about it because Jill had already taken care of it or fixed the problem. She really made sure we enjoyed the day we had been dreaming about for so long.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner whom we now can call a friend. Having her help us through the whole process was truly the best decision we made, and we're constantly recommending her to everyone we know who is getting married.

Jill was incredibly responsive and helpful from the get go. She though of everything I did not and made thoughtful suggestions and guidance throughout the entire process. I am confident that I would have lost my mind without her and her team. They were professional, knowledgeable, and positive always. I can't recommend her enough! Jill is absolutely the best decision we made as part of wedding planning. She stuck with us through multiple dates and a venue change. She is very responsive and on top of it. She provided so much guidance in navigating communication with vendors and ironing out details. She handled everything on the day of, allowing the groom and I to truly be present in the moment and enjoy every bit of the wedding. I can not imagine having gone through the wedding planning process and day of without Jill. She is truly so talented, professional, and an all around gem. I would hire her again for any event planning needs in a heartbeat.

What a dumpster fire 2020 was, especially for trying to plan a wedding. Originally we hired Jill for day of services at a venue for 250 but as the months carried on, we downsized to a smaller venue with 50 guests. This venue mislead into thinking we had to use their onsite coordinator, which pushed Jill into a ceremony role only. Over numerous emails and in person meetings that lead to no follow through by the venue, unspecified internal vendors which were forced on us, and no flexibility/individuality in our event- enter Jill. After feeling and seeing the stress surrounding us in using this venue, and with only two weeks until our wedding, Jill insisted she help us navigate the situation. She came to a meeting with this nightmare venue and professionally took over. Not only did she reach out to all of the other vendors and update them with everything that was happening she also found us a bomb caterer for the event (filling our desire for an Asian menu which was dairy, gluten, soy free), which was an eighth of the price of the original! A week before our event, the state mandated that only 25 person gather in an event, but Jill was there to brainstorm ideas and we ended up working out 25 at the rehearsal dinner and 25 at the reception (50 at the religious ceremony). Even with that last minute hiccup, our wedding was executed in flawless fashion, with no anxiety from the point of Sunkissed Events being in charge. Jill even coordinated our wish to have MacDonald's as the wedding favor! What a dreamboat company, I've been raving about them to anyone that will listen!
