We had the pleasure of having Amye Lee Rheault as our day-of-wedding coordinator. I feel like the word “day-of” is completely misleading, as Amye started working with us five months before the wedding, and she was with us every step of the way from that point on. Amye promptly responded to all of the questions and concerns that we emailed her about (and there were many), she came with us to our venue walkthrough and had great insight, she spent almost three hours meeting with us to determine our wedding timeline and also spent almost two hours coordinating our rehearsal the day before the wedding to make sure every detail was in place. During our wedding, she was there for everything that we could possibly need, including things we didn’t even know we needed. Amye went so above and beyond her job description and also sent me some behind the scenes videos and photos she took throughout our events, which I am incredibly thankful for as we did not hire a videographer.
I really wish that I could give more than five stars because Amye truly was a superhero, not to mention she’s also the sweetest person and was just a joy to have around! Highly highly highly recommend working with Capitol Romance if you’re looking for a wedding coordinator.

As a DC wedding vendor and bride to be, I can say first hand that our town was in need of some help and Capitol Romance was just the right help to come along! Capitol Romance (the blog)- is a breath of fresh air in this town. The style of the wedding blog is off-beat, but not so much so that it makes you uncomfortable. Blog features lots of attainable and realistic wedding inspiration posts, do-able DIY wedding stuff, and the I love that the blog features real life and stylized engagements, elopements, and weddings. Oh and the couples actually look like real people! Bree- is extremely talented with connecting people, styling, creating, and "stepping outside of the box". She challenges the DC wedding scene to higher levels of creativity! As a wedding vendor, I have worked with Bree a couple times and I have been really impressed with her style! I would highly recommend Bree to couples of all walks. Definitely consult with Bree on your wedding planning!
