The Bowling Green Country Club is a golf club with not only one but two ballrooms in the greater Washington, D.C. area. This classic venue offers flowering gardens with a white wedding pergola at our South location and a Brand New Cherry Wood Outdoor Arbor at our North location, undulating green hills, and two separate grand ballrooms. Couples can find this romantic venue in Northern Virginia, approximately 75 minutes from Dulles International Airport.
Facilities and Capacity
The guest list maxes out at 250 attendees for a wedding at the Bowling Green Country Club. Each wedding arbor, offers a scenic ceremony spot overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Both of them sitting on a paved patio, couples won’t have to worry about their shoes in the grass or mud. Flower beds surround this paved walkway and patio space, adding pops of season color to the ceremony. The arbor itself can be decorated with succulent blossoms. For an indoor ceremony or elegant reception, couples can use the two grand ballrooms in either location at this venue. The country club’s ballrooms feature smooth light hardwood floors, giving the space an airy grace when paired with the soft white walls and impressive windows. Both of these rooms offer enough space to seat the maximum capacity of 350 guests.

In addition to their ceremony and reception, couples can also host their bridal shower and engagement party at this classic country club. The staff provides assistance with lighting and sound services on the day of the couple’s wedding event. Linens are also provided for couples, matching the color and style of their celebration. Bowling Green Country Club was the perfect choice for our wedding venue!! We visited a lot of different venues, but as soon as we came here we just knew that this was where we wanted to get married. It was just so inviting, plus the trees and scenery are so beautiful, it makes a gorgeous backdrop for pictures. Not to mention the staff was SO helpful and responsive. They were so quick and professional, I was blown away by how smooth everything went! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I also have to say a special thanks to Catherine, our event coordinator. She was absolutely amazing, and handled everything flawlessly. She did way more than I was expecting, and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. I always thought your wedding day was supposed to be stressful, but with her help it was such a breeze! I’m so so sooo glad we choose to use Bowling Green, our wedding was everything I wanted and more thanks to them. ♥️-

Bowling Green Country Club makes a gorgeous backdrop for any lucky couple's Big Day. Bowling Green CC has everything that would make a photographer happy with their beautiful green grounds, mountain views, and a phenomenal staff. Phillisha definitely stands out from the crowd of event coordinators we have worked with. She was funny, charismatic, and on the ball. She was able to keep the flow of the day moving & stress free. For two weeks before our couple's wedding we watched the weather and it was suppose to be a complete rain out. Phillishia did her special Wedding Day Rain Dance & was able to hold off the rain until AFTER the couple's sparkler exit! Not only is she incredible to work with, but she can apparently manipulate the weather! If that isn't a strength you need in a coordinator, we don't know what is! We can't wait to work more with Bowling Green CC, Phillishia, & all the other amazing staff that made our experience there so wonderful! (Save us some extra mushrooms for next time Phillishia!!)

In an area not generally thought of as having great event elements, Front Royal's Bowling Green Country Club is a gem! Of course, this is also where Selfie Monopoly Photo Booth Station is also located!
