I’m not sure where to even start with our review of Vanna and her team at Blue Sparrow Events, however simply put, they are magnificent! The year leading up to our wedding was quite a chaotic year for us — new city, new jobs, new house, and then covid. It was evident that a wedding planner would be an absolute necessity for us. After interviewing a few planners, Vanna was the clear choice for us. Her experience was very evident and spoke for itself, however what really sold us on BSE was Vanna’s ability to connect with us right off the bat. She was genuinely interested in us as a couple during our first call, making it feel like she’d known us for years! Throughout the entire planning process the BSE team was so incredibly helpful and thorough as well. As a couple planning a wedding during Covid, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Vanna was instrumental in helping us through the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. However when our day did finally come, it was better than we could have ever imagined! Seeing our multi-cultural celebration come together after a year of planning and having the BSE team there the entire day to make sure everything ran smoothly was the best decision we made! We wish we could do it all over again and can’t imagine doing it with anyone other than Vanna and the team at BSE. We promise if you choose to work with BSE, you will not be disappointed!

Vanna was organized and responsive. Her referrals for vendors were quite simply the best . She made the day spectacular and her ability to navigate the entire wedding and reception without one glitch was remarkable. Vanna is truly the most incredible, meticulous, talented wedding planner you could ever ask for. From the very beginning, she made my husband and I feel so supported, giving us tons of resources to book vendors and a budget guide, and was always there to offer her opinion backed with experience and insight in the industry. Upon hearing I was working with Blue Sparrow Events, each and every vendor I spoke to said "oh my gosh, Vanna is INCREDIBLE, you are in GREAT hands" and how right they were! Vanna's organization, ideas, and impeccable attention to detail makes her stand out from other planners I had spoken to before landing on Blue Sparrow. She made our wedding feel like the most special, unique day, and it truly was the absolute best day of our lives! I never had to worry knowing Vanna and her team had thought of every detail and sent out to-the-minute timelines to all of our vendors long ahead of the event. She reviewed our contracts and found frivolous things we could cut out, and was quick to pivot and resolve issues if they came up. From the beginning, she listened to our vision and brought it to life, knowing how to articulate details and pieces of the day better than I could myself! My family was beyond impressed with how perfectly smooth the day was, and that is all thanks to the incredible team at Blue Sparrow. Vanna is truly an EXPERT in her field. I already am having FOMO watching her events for other couples, knowing how perfectly those days are going for them, and I could not recommend her enough to everyone I know getting engaged. If you are looking for a designer/planner that you can have 100% confidence will create and execute the most magical wedding day, then Vanna and Blue Sparrow Events is your team! With Vanna's eye for design and amazing vendor relationships, we planned the most romantic modern wedding outside under the trees. Fast forward to the weekend of our wedding and we have torrential downpours and flash flood warnings. In any other situation, I would have been a mess, but after working with Vanna and her team for the past year, I had absolute confidence that they were handling everything and they did! Tents were erected, rain plans enacted and then changed multiple times as the weather changed throughout the day. An hour before the ceremony the rain started to clear and plans changed again. The most amazing thing about Vanna and her team is that I didn't have to worry about a single thing and my guests had no idea that the plan that was executed wasn't the plan we had from the beginning. Everything was beautiful, the transitions were seamless and it was perfect!

I got married a week ago at The Allan House and I can honestly say that Tara with Blue Sparrow Events was the MVP of my entire vendor team. Tara went above and beyond to make this my dream wedding! I am a very detailed person...I think through everything and plan, plan, plan, and plan. Even with all that I am telling you that a wedding coordinator is a MUST- Tara gave me the most gorgeous, intimate, and flawless wedding!
She also saved my wedding from disaster! My entire wedding was supposed to be outside but 72 hrs before my wedding a HUGE rain storm decided to linger over Austin. She basically rearranged the entire wedding for me with a plan A, B, and C for EVERY part of the wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing). I am so thankful I had Tara by my side through this process. She was available whenever I needed her, so prompt with responses, so clear and detailed when dealing with all of my vendors. I am so grateful for everything she did to make the day perfect for my guests and my husband and me!

Where do we even begin! After reading the glamorous reviews about Vanna and her team we decided to give her a call - and we are so glad we did! After our first call with Vanna I felt as though we were already best friends. I went into wedding planning with a mental image of what I wanted things to look like, but with zero idea of how to make it happen. Vanna and Mia made every aspect of my vision come to life, and more. From site visits, vision boards, phone call and facetime meetings, Vanna held my hand throughout the entire process and made it so easy and fun. She helped me pick out all of our A+ vendors who ALL raved to us about how professional and outstanding Vanna and her team are to work with. It says a lot about a planner when every vendor in town is overjoyed to find out they get to work with her! Vanna knew what I wanted, even when I was unable to put into words exactly what I was thinking. She has such a great way of getting to know the brides style and helping make decisions that she knows the bride would love. I trusted her beyond measure. I frequently found myself just saying “you pick!” to things because I just knew that she would make the right choice for us. When we started planning the wedding, there was no covid. Halfway through when covid struck, of course, I hit panic mode. Vanna was my therapist during this time and immediately calmed my nerves. She knew all of the local laws and regulations regarding covid and weddings, worked closely with the venue coordinator to stay on top of their particular rules and requirements and all the while keeping my hopes and wishes at the forefront of the planning. Finally, two weeks before the wedding we had the guest count and the layout finished. It was at the time that we had an unexpected influx of RSVP’s! Vanna and Mia, calm cool and collected as always, went out to our venue multiple times on their own to re-do the floor plan to accommodate the extra guests and make it just as perfect as it was before. By the end of the wedding, all of our bridesmaids and groomsmen loved Vanna just as much as we did! At the end of the night, she came in to give my husband his tuxedo jacket that he had left in the reception area and ALL of our friends started chanting her name- It was epic! Vanna, Mia, and the Bluesparrow Events team are single handedly the best, most organized, most creative, sweetest, most put-together group of people I have ever met. We truly don’t have enough good things to say about them. We tell everyone we know that they are the only option when it comes to wedding planning! They planned and executed the wedding (and rehearsal dinner!) that I have always dreamed of and we couldn’t be more thankful to now call Vanna and Mia lifelong friends!

Hiring Vanna and her team at Blue Sparrow was one of the best decisions I made while planning our wedding. We only hired her for our day of coordination but she was still there every step of the planning process with recommendations and advice when I needed it. We also had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and she was so helpful in helping us organize and reach out to vendors for an easy transition to a new date. On the day of the wedding, I didn't worry about a single thing because I knew Vanna had a handle on everything. My husband and I were able to enjoy the day completely and had the best time. Working with Vanna was the second best decision I have ever made (second only to my husband and barely at that!). She is dedicated, creative, supportive, and makes your dreams hers as she creates the wedding you see in your head but do not know how to make happen or (if you're like me) even put into words. Vanna is somehow able to be exactly what you need at every step of wedding planning. She is clearly your teammate and advocate as she guides you through the world of weddings. I was never stressed or worried that things would not turn out because from the moment I met Vanna I knew things would be perfect. That trust was not misplaced. Vanna created the wedding of my dreams and EVERY SINGLE PERSON attending cannot stop talking about how amazing everything was. Vanna and her team are absolutely AMAZING!! When I first started wedding planning I noticed very quickly how overwhelming things can be. This is when I found Blue Sparrow Events. I initially reached out because I saw how beautiful their Instagram page was but after my first over the phone meeting, I knew I made the best decision of the whole wedding process. Vanna truly listens and walks you through every single step. She lays things out so perfectly so you won’t miss a step. Her readiness to help is unbelievable and her design skills are out of this world. I chose a venue 3hrs from my home so most of our planning had to be done via phone/email and let me just say I not once felt stressed or overwhelmed and I truly believe it’s all because of her and her team. Fast forward to the wedding day, seeing my dream wedding at Contigo Ranch come to life so beautifully was unreal. If I could relive the whole entire process I would. I don’t feel like many people can truly say that but Blue Sparrow Events is simply the best. They are fun/hardworking/dedicated/talented ladies and I’m blessed I got to have them bring my dreams to life.

I literally don't think my wedding would have come together without Vanna...truly! She was with my fiance and I throughout every step of the wedding process, and assisted us in every decision and detail. The idea of planning a wedding really intimidated me and stressed me out, so it was invaluable to have someone that I trusted to make it all happen.
