Had a really great experience at the Black Lapel store in NYC and with the online customer service. I have several suits from Indochino and wanted a step up and had researched several companies and decided to take a chance with BL. I needed a suit/tux for my wedding and saw that they have premium materials like VBC. Marcus helped me and selected a limited production suit. Marcus is the MAN. He had wonderful suggestions and measured me PERFECTLY. When I came back in a few weeks, the suit fit SPOT ON. This was something I never pictured from a MTM store like this. No alterations needed at all. He has a great knowledge of suits, fitting, and overall great customer service.

I also requested through the online service to have this suit specially made to have full canvas and initially they said it could not be done because it was not part of their premium line but they were able to make an exception.

Overall, I would definitely return and get future suits from here and would recommend everyone to have MARCUS!!!

My husband got his groom's tux from Black Lapel for their superb quality at a great price point. He looked great and I loved the fact that he had a personalized message in the interior! We would highly recommend Black Lapel!

My husband Will got his tux from Black Lapel and we both could not be happier with the result. The instructions for measurements were incredibly easy to follow as was the entire process afterwards. He got his suit in the mail after we sent in his measurements that I took. His jacket ended up being about 1/4'' or 1/2'' short in the shoulder, if I remember correctly, which was most likely a result of my measurement-taking. Will sent a picture of himself in the jacket to the Black Lapel customer service and they told him to send it back for a completely new jacket, no questions asked. Other companies would have just told him to take it to a tailor, but Black Lapel did all the work for him and that was greatly appreciated. He now has a great looking tux he can wear for a long, long time. Very happy with the result!
