We had a fairly intimate wedding with about 70 guests. The Alamoosook Inn was a perfect venue for us and the owners were very helpful with every part, including making our guests comfortable, set-up and takedown, and accommodating guests’ diets. The food was great. The lake is a beautiful backdrop. Many thanks!!!

The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff were very friendly, and the food was great (several guests said it was the best food they've had at a wedding)! The owners were very responsive and helpful throughout planning our wedding, I honestly can't thank them and everyone else there enough!

We could not have asked for a better venue. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning, and the reception area was small/quaint but not cramped at all. The guests who stayed in the inn's couple of rooms raved about the hospitality they were shown (as well as the wonderful breakfasts they were served). The owners were completely open to helping us create our dream wedding, repeatedly went above and beyond what was outline in their wedding package, and even helped us create the perfect allergy-friendly menu (several of my bridesmaids and I have food allergies, so coming up with options we can all eat really is a task). The pricing is a la carte, so tailoring your event to your budget is very doable. Overall, I could not recommend this hidden gem enough to anyone still in search of a venue.

My husband and I had our wedding this fall. We also had a brunch the day after the wedding. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the food was great! The ceremony spot on the lake is stunning and the reception venue accommodated our 100 guests perfectly and has beautiful views of the lake. The room was already styled very nicely and required minimal decorations. Debbie and Barry were very easy to work with, very responsive, and very helpful. We rented out all the rooms for with weekend for family who found them very comfortable. We had many comments from our guests about how good the food was and how nice all the staff was.

I really can't speak highly enough of Deb, Barry, and their lovely inn. My husband and I wanted a Maine camp style wedding, with a casual "cookout" feel to it. They told us that they had never done a wedding with their cookout menu before, but their attitude from the beginning was "Let's make it happen!" They were extremely flexible and did their absolute best to accommodate all of our requests and give us the day we wanted.

The location of the inn is absolutely stunning and perfect for a wedding ceremony. We also booked all six guest rooms for Friday and Saturday night and the rooms were cozy and spotlessly clean. Kayaks, canoes, yard games, and a fire pit were also available for our use throughout the weekend, which was a big hit. We had several out-of-town guests tell us they want to go back just for a weekend getaway.

On the day of, everything on their end was absolutely smooth and perfectly executed. The food was great and the staff was extremely friendly. We also had a few more guests attend than RSVP'ed and Deb and Barry took care of it quickly and efficiently. I didn't even realize that it had happened until the end of the night (which I very much appreciated!). The food was delicious and exactly what we wanted (the bacon wrapped scallops were an especially big hit).

I think my favorite thing about this venue, however, is how dog friendly they were. We have two dogs that are like family to us and they were able to be with us for our entire wedding. They were even on the dance floor with us during the reception! It was so great to have them be apart of our special day and not have to worry about boarding them or cooping them up in their crate all day.

Overall, we had a magical wedding weekend thanks to Deb and Barry. I HIGHLY recommend this venue and it's owners.

We had our wedding at the Inn on 9/16 and couldn't be happier with our wedding day or the experience with Gina and staff!
We could tell from the pictures on the website that the Inn and property are gorgeous, but being an out-of-state couple, what mattered to us the most was the relationship we had with the venue coordinator, Gina. The first time we met her, we both felt comfortable and her expertise was so reassuring.
Over the course of the 9 months of planning our wedding, Gina was so accommodating in any special requests we made, efficient in responding to all of the little questions I emailed to her, and just always so friendly and personable in any interaction we had with her.
The Inn and grounds are beautiful, the staff is pleasant and professional, and Gina is just a delightful person and a terrific wedding coordinator. The food was delicious, and we heard from everyone that ours was one of the best weddings they had been to - in large part thanks to the Inn. We just could not be any happier with our experience!

We had the most beautiful wedding at Alamoosook on 6.17.2017! It's was everything we could have hoped for and more! Gina and staff were wonderful and very accommodating though out the planning process from beginning to end. We had a peaceful ceremony on the lake and a beautiful reception inside! Deserves well over 5 stars! I would highly recommend the Alamoosook lakeside Inn!

I can't recommend Alamoosook Lakeside Inn highly enough. Gina, the owner, and her staff are professional, flexible, and go out of their way to make an event memorable for everyone involved. The pricing was also very reasonable, a much better value than any other venue we considered. My wife and I got married at Alamoosook, and Gina was willing to work with us to customize the experience from start to finish. The venue is gorgeous, and the weather was perfect for our outdoor ceremony by the lake. Every guest we've spoken with has raved about the venue and the service. If you're looking for a beautiful, unique spot in Maine for your wedding, look no further.

The Alamoosook Lakeside Inn was the perfect spot for my wedding on 9/10/16. Gina the owner was so incredibly helpful with the entire planning process from the initial stages all the way to the big day itself. All of the food was made onsite and we got tons of compliments on all the appetizers and the dinner. The location itself is simply gorgeous and really is the perfect backdrop for anyone planning a woodsy/lakeside wedding. I highly recommend it!

This was by far, one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have seen. I would suggest renting all 6 rooms as we did, as it was so nice to have the entire place for some family and the wedding party to stay. The owner and staff were so warm and welcoming and were there to help with all our questions and needs. The wedding was in the late afternoon, so the boats/kayaks were used during the day and some folks relaxed by the water. The view is breathtaking and the food was absolutely delicious. We chose to have the rehearsal dinner there as well. Everything was cooked to perfection! In addition, we were served a country breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wishing to have the perfect wedding day! A perfect "10"!
