Okay, so I made a registry... now what, my wedding is over a year away... ( yeah I know I started doing things early), so now what do I do, just sit and let it marinate until I send out my invitations??? and then start telling people about it??? or Can I tell them Now, and let them do whatever??? someone please ENLIGHTEN me, cause now I'm just like "where do I go from here???

You can start by using the wedding planning tools. I think that's a great place to start. Upload some photos talk to other brides. The site is basically as good for you as you want it to be! Have fun, the days really creep up on you so fast. Kathy

You can start telling your friends and family now as it comes up in casual conversation. I'm sure they will then pass the word on to other friends and family and soon everyone will know. Good luck to you! Melissa

Have you had an engagement party? You could also make a wedding website and post where you registry is.

Letting family and friends know about your engagement via a website is a great idea. It also allows them to follow any blogs (with ideas for gifts that you really need) posted. Word of mouth by family is the usual procudure or waiting for your bridal shower. Michelle

I agree with all of the above. Please remember that when you send your invitations, never put information about gifts or a registry. It's a big wedding etiquette NO NO.
