About
I have been a photographer since I was 14 years old. I started out shooting sports and news. I shot my first wedding at 16, and have been shooting ever since. I like a journalistist approach, if I get to choose. However, i pride myself in giving my clients what THEY WANT, not necessarily what I think they should have. In 1993 my wife Penny began shooting with me, and we have been a great team ever since. We shoot differently, and our clients have not been disappointed. Frequently Asked Questions
How do you identify your primary photographic style?
a Combination of Journalist, traditional, and Modern. However, we understand and remember that our clients get want They want, not what we think they should have.
Please describe any special techniques you offer:
We don't really do special techniques...... I did an internship once and the photographer i was working with DRILLED into me, "if you want a good photograph, take a good photograph - It's just too expensive, and inconsistant to rely on post production for quality" That said, i will crop or adjust color in an image. I prefer to let your beauty come out. Not show you how good i am with different software.
Which lighting situations do you have experience with?
Lightning is a BLAST! I enjoy all differnt types a lighting. Look at my portfolio and you will see, Soft lights, rain, clouds, direct sunlight, night time, candlelight, studio light, you name it....

Usually 2 (me and my wife), however, i used up to 4 for a very large wedding once.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Of cource i will be there. I am the one you want, not one of my clones.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
I will only shoot 1 wedding per day. 99% of the time it's an all day affair anyway.

If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
See above

If your party is eating, then we do also. If you do not provide the meal, you may miss getting "the shot" captured, because we won't be there.

Tips and Advice
Make sure whoever you select for your photographer is someone you like, and can talk with. And that he/she is flexible. Weddings rarely go as planned.....
