Wedding Vendors in Clarksburg

Katya and Arthur are a great couple to work with. We first met them at their home studio and were immediately impressed with their work. When we did our engagement shoot in Philadelphia with them, it was like they did not want to stop! We ended up doing more locations than we had originally planned for and ended up with beautiful pictures. Their style of photography is unique and they are able to see things that we would not have noticed at all. For example, at one crowded location, we have pictures that made it seem like we were the only ones there. During the planning process, they had us create a timeline so we could capture everything we wanted and went over it in detail with us a few days before the events. On our wedding day, they arrived early to capture everything from the very beginning. Both Katya and Arthur were very professional throughout the process and tried to capture as many moments as possible. They have creative minds and we cannot wait to see our wedding pictures!

We consulted with SO many photographers for our wedding. We found Irene to be at the top of our affordability range. BUT, her body of work was absolutely amazing. She has an immediately obvious artistic eye, which was something that was very important to us. Aside from her quality, she was also very VERY patient with all our questions, and I cannot say enough about how organized her approach was to the wedding itself. She approaches the photography just as a wedding planner would. The result is that we maximized our time with our friends and family, and the photos are just dazzling. We received our album this week and simply cannot get over how good each and every picture is. It was so hard to choose album photos due to the incredible number of wonderful shots, especially the candid shots. We made a lot of great decisions about our wedding, and absolutely one of the best choices we could have made was getting Irene as our photographer. We loved working with her, and hope to do so again sometime (maybe an anniversary party?)

My philosophy is pictures are all you have left after the wedding that you can share. Thus you want to make sure all elements are captured and your best self is captured for history. Clarence can do that. Clarence is very understanding and willing to create what your vision is in his photography. He has a creative eye so you will find him particularly wonderful if you are not quite sure what images you want. He is also, however, responsive to your vision. So if you, like I did, know what you want-lol he will be a good fit for you too. Just be sure to go through all the particulars and possibly review similar photos of what you are looking for to ensure it's all part of your memories when it's said and done. At the end of the day, we were please with Clarence's work, talent, and dedication to our photos.

We used Sprites Ink to address our wedding invitations and print our menus, wedding escort cards, and rehearsal dinner escort cards. Lisa did a beautiful job with the invitations and was able to work with my canva designs for the menus and escort cards. Everything turned out great.

Fine Cuisine catered our wedding at The Vault 1891, and they exceeded every expectation. Chef Wahid and Joe were professional, attentive, and incredibly organized from start to finish. The presentation was beautiful, the timing of each course was handled seamlessly, and they kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. As a bride, I never had to worry about a single detail. The food was outstanding. Our guests especially loved the crab dip and the meatballs, and we received compliments all night. They also handled the full cleanup at the end of the event, which made the entire experience stress free. We are so grateful and highly recommend Fine Cuisine for any wedding or special event!

Bhavna is truly a master of her craft.. The artistry and precision in my henna were stunning, with beautiful personal touches like my dog, peacocks, and depictions of my fiance and I. She created such a warm and welcoming environment for me and my bridesmaids while they practiced their dances, and made the entire experience feel easy and fun. Seven hours flew by because of her energy and conversation. She was so accommodating, thoughtful, and professional, even cooking for me and making sure I was taken care of. It truly felt special from beginning to end.

Makeup by Kim was outstanding and professional! She did my make up for the tea ceremony and wedding day. Both times my makeup fits the look that I wanted to achieve. I would highly recommend her for whatever ocassion you have in mind. She's flexible to work with and very open to suggestions.

Vu is truly amazing in his craft. We knew we wanted to book him as soon as we started finding vendors. He was actually our first vendor we booked with. Vu is easy to communicate/work with, and he worked great with our photographer, making the day feel easy and comfortable while shooting the day. We received a sneak peek trailer video shortly after, and were immediately struck with emotion of reliving the day. Vu and his partner Se Park, were able to capture the emotions, fun, and joy of the day, in ways we can’t describe. If you were going to invest in a vendor, nVu Films would be it! We can’t wait to receive our full wedding video. Without a doubt one of the best wedding filmmakers not only in the area, but in the world.

Mike was recommended to me by a friend and I am SO happy we booked him. My fiancé and I are very particular about our music and the app Mike uses made it so easy to choose songs for different parts of the wedding. Mike worked with us to loop certain parts of songs for our ceremony as well as helped add in audio of my dad’s voice for when I walked down the aisle. Everything was timed perfectly. For the dance floor, we told Mike we wanted a club feel mixed with some Baltimore beats and he delivered. Our families are still talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Could not recommend a better DJ and MC!

BOSS Weddings and Events did a great job with communication and organization, very thorough, both before and during the day of the ceremony. It had a lot of moving parts with a few hiccups (not their fault!), but overall everyone was very happy by the end of the day. Thank you so much!!!
