Katya and Arthur are a great couple to work with. We first met them at their home studio and were immediately impressed with their work. When we did our engagement shoot in Philadelphia with them, it was like they did not want to stop! We ended up doing more locations than we had originally planned for and ended up with beautiful pictures. Their style of photography is unique and they are able to see things that we would not have noticed at all. For example, at one crowded location, we have pictures that made it seem like we were the only ones there. During the planning process, they had us create a timeline so we could capture everything we wanted and went over it in detail with us a few days before the events. On our wedding day, they arrived early to capture everything from the very beginning. Both Katya and Arthur were very professional throughout the process and tried to capture as many moments as possible. They have creative minds and we cannot wait to see our wedding pictures!

My wife and I had a unique wedding. She is Serbian and I am Indian. It was a true fusion wedding / reception with both a hindu ceremony and a western christian ceremony. We were looking for a group of photographers that understood the unique aspects of both wedding because we knew they expertise would enable them to capture the most important moments.
My wife works in fashion and has a very artistic eye. When we found Storymotion we loved their work.

Since we reside in NYC and were getting married in Baltimore, MD. Meeting vendors had to occur at specific times and required flexibility. Katya and Arthur were very easy to work with and communicate with. They took time on the phone, on skype and in person to go over every aspect of our wedding - the timeline, the photos we wanted and style of photos we were looking for. We booked an additional engagement photo session in NYC with them. The photographs they provided here were amazing. We photographed in two locations - Central Park and our local neighborhood in Soho. When we saw our photographs were were blown away. They turned a simple walk in our neighborhood into fantastic photo opportunities using everyday things we walk past like bicycles, billboards and graphite walls into breath taking photographs.

On our wedding date, Arthur and Katya went above and beyond what we expected from them. My wife jokes to this date this that Katya was her honorary bridesmaid, helping with her with her Indian outfit, as well as her wedding dress. Arthur helped through the day keeping us on time and myself calm during times of chaos. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos.

I could not be happier with StoryMotion Studios. Their photos are amazing! I am not very photogenic and usually look much better in real life than photos. But StoryMotion managed to capture those moments where I looked beautiful and natural which made me so very happy! Even my husband's mother looked younger on those photos. They managed to capture moments that very simultaneously flattering and natural. Besides the portraits the wedding pictures are a well balanced mixture between funny moments, little details of the décor, sweet monments between my husband and me. Some are just beautiful photos as far as light/mood/composition. Its really great because its a nice portrait of the wedding itself not just people, the mood we had that special day. I can imagine showing it to my kids and telling them what an amazing day that was.
