We were thrilled to have our wedding reception at the Stockade Inn. We loved the location, as it was a short walk from our wedding site. Food was really important to us, and is one of the main reasons we chose the Stockade Inn. We weren't disappointed.

There were many entrees offered that we would have loved to have chosen for the reception, and the ones we eventually chose were prepared perfectly and arrived at the table hot. I was still chatting when with guests when my meal arrived, and a thoughtful staff member covered my plate to keep it warm. Some of our guests had gluten free or kosher dietary needs, and not only were they were all accommodated, they really enjoyed their meals. We got tons of compliments on the food. Both my husband and brother-in-law are chefs, and they were delighted with their entrees.

Jeff McDonald made the reception planning effortless and fun. He took much of the stress out of the process. Beverly helped to guide us through the reception, suggesting the appropriate times to cut the cake and attending to other details for us. Wait staff was excellent--we got many compliments on the service.

Also, staff at the Inn were exceedingly helpful and our guests were very pleased with their rooms and the quality of the breakfast (included with room price).

We had a wonderful reception at The Stockade Inn. The food was delicious and the staff was professional. Not a single need went un-catered. We had a 'surprise' guest show up and the staff at The Stockade Inn quickly made another dinner plate and acted as though they had planned for it.
The pricing was amazing- included the cost of the cake from Villa Italia! The suite that we stayed in overnight was extravagant and I couldn't have wished for a better setting!

Our ceremony and reception were actually held at the VAN DYCK Lounge just down the street from the Stockade Inn, however we are posting a review here because the same wonderful family that owns/runs the Stockade Inn also owns/runs the VAN DYCK and Jeffrey MacDonald did an amazing job for us!

Jeff was so friendly, flexible and easy to work with. He made reception and even ceremony planning so easy!! Anything we needed or asked for (within reason of course) he made happen.
Our wedding and ceremony were so much more than we ever could have expected!!

And our freinds and family are still raving about the large menu selection, especially cocktail hour, the top shelf bar and the gorgeous venue!

We got married on Halloween 2009 and this was truly the perfect venue. The Stockade offers a lovely vintage setting. The guests raved about the food and the hotel rooms. I highly recommend!

The Stockade Inn was the perfect setting for our wedding. Not only was it absolutely beautiful but the food was phenomenal. All of our guests were extremely happy with the food, drinks and the look of the venue. The manager of Stockade, Jeff, absolutely bent over backwards for us with all of our special requests and was very helpful every step of the way. I would recommend this great venue for any wedding!
