From our first conversation with the Full Moon Resort team, we knew we'd made the right choice. Their communication was quick and friendly, and they stayed on top of every detail leading up to our wedding weekend. The staff was accommodating and warm throughout the entire event, checking in on us at just the right moments and handling every request we had. The space itself is stunning, and having everything on-site—from lodging to multiple event spaces—made the weekend flow seamlessly. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and how easy it was to stay overnight. We honestly can't recommend Full Moon Resort enough for couples looking for a venue that truly delivers on professionalism, hospitality, and an unforgettable experience.

We had out wedding at Full Moon about a week ago and are still reeling about how perfect it was. The staff was incredible, everything ran smoothly, the food and drinks were delicious, and the venue itself is gorgeous! I highly highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Full Moon Resort. From the moment we arrived we were received with such warmth and welcome that we knew this was the place for our wedding. With enough place to stay on site for all of our guests we were able to have our dream wedding that felt like a two day adult campground. We loved being able to have people within walking distance of all the activities and not have to worry about transportation for our guests. The grounds are absolutely perfect for a wedding and the event team and the front desk run the whole place like a well oiled machine. Absolutely amazing that they have delicious catering on site and many different options for the wedding ceremony in case of bad weather so there is nothing for the bride to worry about on the day of her wedding. The event team and front desk were able to help us plan the whole wedding weekend and ensure that we did not have any issues coordinating with the venders on the actual day of the wedding which was such a relief or any issues with guest information. The vendor list was also extremely comprehensive and ensured that we only selected the best vendors for our wedding. Our guests didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend and they made us want to get married all over again. Thank you for such an amazing experience and helping us create the wedding weekend that we dreamed of :)

Full Moon Resort is a true hidden gem in the Catskills, offering a sense of peace with its fresh mountain air and the gentle creek flowing through the grounds. In July 2025, we hosted 220 guests for our son’s wedding, with 120 staying on-site. This three-day celebration turned into a deeply meaningful communal experience.

• Friday: We kicked off with a welcome BBQ and a 'Wedding Wow' ceremony, followed by a cozy late-night bonfire.
• Saturday: The day was rich with culture, starting with a vibrant Haldi ceremony followed by a serene Hindu ceremony by the creek. We transitioned to a beautiful reception at the Pavilion and ended the night with hours of relaxed conversation at the Roadhouse bar.
• Sunday: A final farewell breakfast allowed us one last moment together before saying goodbye.

The coordination was seamless, thank you Morgan and team; they handled everything from lodging to logistics with incredible professionalism. If you want a wedding that feels like a private retreat rather than just an event, this is the place.

When searching for a wedding venue, the search can be quite overwhelming! I was delighted to find Full Moon after searching “rustic venues” in New York. I was worried it would be above our price point but we went to visit anyway! Upon meeting the awesome staff, exploring the gorgeous grounds, and seeing what could be - we knew how incredible this place was.

The charm is what we fell in love with but the value is what really sold us! The services and amenities offered were amazing compared to any other venue we were considering. The moment we met the wonderful Tia at the welcome desk and the whimsical Paul who drove the giant sprinter van in the snow just to give us a tour, we knew we would be well taken care of!

To describe what it was like to have our wedding at Full Moon in one word it would be: magical.

From the Friday night barbeque to the goodbye breakfast, we and our guests loved every meal. We had so many allergies in attendance and I (the bride!) am Gluten Free, Dairy Free and we were so grateful to have the opportunity to work very closely with Chef Adam to include so many options. We even had GF & DF pies for dessert - iconic!

Yes, assigning guest accommodations are a little quirky but oh so worth it, we promise! Tia and Corrine are the literal dream team and supported us every step of the way. And shoutout to Janis also! Our guests agreed that the accommodations were lovely and it was incredible to have the resort to ourselves for the whole weekend.

When picking a wedding venue, it’s important to feel supported by the event staff and it’s fair to say we were blown away by all the small and big details every team member went out of their way to deliver. Major shout out to Morgan, Kayla, Gigi, Niki, Kaitlyn, and Josh - thank you SO much for all that you did to make our wedding feel so special!! We have countless stories from each of our guests, shining a light on each of you and the wonderful customer service experienced.

If you made it this far, I have one last shoutout - the afterparty at the roadhouse! Our very own dive bar complete with a disco ball, fries, and chicken wings? There is no better way to end the night!

There is not much to say other than if you’re looking for an upstate venue that encompasses the beauty of the area, with amazing food, awesome accommodations, and even greater staff, then look no further.

Full Moon Resort completely exceeded all of our expectations. It was the best day of our lives and we have them to thank. During the entire planning process, I had their team available to me to answer any questions and help us when it came to a lot of the details. On the actual day itself, I could never have dreamt of not having to be hands-on or directing people with what to do, but I did not have to thanks to their expert team.

Our guests can’t stop talking about the amazing time they had and the fact a good amount of them were able to stay on-site with us.

We cannot recommend Full Moon enough. THANK YOU!!

My husband and I got married at Full Moon in August of 2025 and it was the BEST weekend of our lives. When we were thinking about what we wanted out of a wedding venue, we opted to prioritize venues that could accommodate the majority of our guests on site. We didn't want to go the traditional wedding route where guests don't end up seeing one another and hanging out till 4 pm on Saturday. We wanted to bring all our guests together and to create an entire weekend experience. Seeing our guests hanging out at the pool (recently upgraded and AMAZING), playing volleyball, and just roaming the property on Saturday was our dream come true. Everything just flowed so perfectly having everything on site starting out with the welcome BBQ on Friday night, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, the after party at the Roadhouse, the after after party in the Billiards Room, and then farewell breakfast on Sunday. Our guests absolutely loved the summer camp experience of it all.

Working with the Full Moon staff leading up to the wedding was also an absolute pleasure. Never in our planning process were we EVER stressed about Full Moon's ability to deliver a seamless wedding weekend experience. Leading up to the event they were always extremely responsive to my many emails, and on the day of we didn't have to worry about a single thing, allowing us to just enjoy and be present in the moment. When my husband and I took a private moment between the ceremony and cocktail hour, the Full Moon team had our signature cocktails waiting for us in our room. They truly thought of everything. We are so so grateful for the whole Full Moon team - Nikki, Morgan, Kayla, Josh and Gigi. They managed all the little details of the day so seamlessly and professionally.
It was also a huge bonus that we didn't have to hire a wedding planner - Full Moon provided wonderful vendor recommendations and did all the event coordination leading up to, and on the day. They also coordinated several things directly with the vendors like drop off times and vendor meals. They know their venue so well that we didn't even have to think about so many of the little details they already had figured out (the perfect size dance floor, sound, lighting etc.)
The food was also absolutely amazing. Our guests raved about Chef Adam's giant steaks that were somehow cooked perfectly for all 170 guests. Our carrot cake was also INCREDIBLE and they even packed up a few pieces for us to enjoy on our way home on Sunday.
Full Moon will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we can't wait to return to stay at one of their on site AirBnB rentals!! We are also actively trying to convince at least one of our friends to get married there so we can go back and experience it all as guests.

Full Moon Resort far exceeded everything we dreamed of for our wedding on 10/13/25. To put the conclusion first, all the staff at Full Moon Resort coordinated a flawless and smooth multi-day wedding celebration that left everyone (including us and all of our guests) feeling as though this was the best wedding they had ever attended.

There are so many unique and wonderful things about a wedding at Full Moon Resort. The location is quaint and dreamy - many of our guests extended their travel to explore surrounding areas in the Catskills and Northeast. Even though it rained on our wedding day, it actually made for a surreal and ethereal backdrop for photos and the event itself. Full Moon Resort had rain contingency plans for every moment. The staff made us feel very secure and reassured that they would take care of everything in the event of rain - and they absolutely did! The sound of rain and the creek in the background of the ceremony was very serene. We loved every minute of it!

The multi-day schedule of weddings at Full Moon Resort also allows so much extra time to spend with guests. From the BBQ the night before the wedding to the farewell breakfast the day after, we felt like we had enough time to actually talk to all ~170 guests at our wedding. Our guests also raved about having lots of quality time with each other while staying onsite for multiple days. This was another very special aspect of our wedding that we highly appreciated.

One potentially daunting part of the process is to place guests into their lodging options onsite, which is primarily done by the wedding couple since the wedding couple knows who should share accommodations. We were nervous about this part; however, the staff at Full Moon Resort helped us every step of the way and it ended up being much less work than we imagined! In the end, this also ended up being one of the most special parts of our wedding because family and friends who gathered to celebrate with us were able to spend even more quality time with each other.

All other parts of the planning process leading up to the event were also handled so smoothly by Full Moon Resort staff. They are highly communicative and friendly, always ready to chat with us if we had questions. They provided vendor recommendations that we utilized and were very happy with. They also helped coordinate a surprise musical guest to play at our BBQ, which was organized by our wedding party, and Full Moon Resort staff helped keep it a secret from us and executed it flawlessly. During the wedding day, we also felt like the staff were always looking after us. They gave us heads up about each component of the reception, telling us and our Maid of Honor/Best Man exactly when speeches, etc, were about to happen. There is also no need to have a day-of wedding coordinator at Full Moon Resort – they handle all vendor interactions and day-of coordination and the process could not have been smoother.

The food is also incredible - every meal served on site (BBQ, day-of breakfast and lunch, reception dinner, dessert, and farewell breakfast) was delicious. Many of our guests said the steak and salmon at our reception dinner were some of the best they’ve had. The bartenders were also super efficient and keyed into our and all of our guests’ needs. Even at our larger wedding of ~170 guests (who like to party!), there was never a line at the bar during the reception.

This is a long review, but there are so many things we were blown away by at Full Moon Resort. We have covered only some of the highlights that made our wedding absolutely unforgettable. We are so grateful to everyone at Full Moon Resort and wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding.

We had such a great experience with the Full Moon Resort team! Our family and friends raved about how much they loved the venue and it gave city dwellers a chance to experience nature and great views of the mountains. The food options were incredible! From the rehearsal dinner all the way to the after party. Overall, we're so happy we chose Full Moon Resort for our wedding. The reservation and planning teams were incredible friendly, helpful, and attentive. We received a great value for two magical days in the Catskills, and it was all quite affordable. We cannot recommend full moon enough. From the moment we toured full moon, we knew we had to have our wedding there. Everyone we met there was incredibly kind and helpful. They always answered all of our questions or concerns very quickly and made planning our wedding so much easier. The wedding itself was the most perfectly wonderful, beautiful, magical and smooth weekend we could have possibly imagined! Gigi and Nikki made our weekend so smooth and easy, they were both so helpful and always around the second we needed them! We cant recommend Full Moon enough! All of the food was delicious, the timing was all perfect, the accommodations were wonderful, all of the staff were so kind and helpful. It was so wonderful to be able to have all of the people we love all staying at the same place! Our wedding was an absolute dream!
